Thank you for your advice regarding Lesya, the woman from Lugansk. I am not quite ready to give up on her, however, without further fact-finding first.
I like your strategy. But lets say I go ahead with your advice. I inform Lesya an agency in Lugansk will forward our e-mail letters back and forth. And I also inform her I've registered us, and she will
also be able to type e-mails in there office, no charge to her. Lesya says, "Great idea, let's start."
Would you actually be able to provide me with the name of a specific agency, which would in fact, do this? Can I employ Fiance.com to provide us with this service. If she agrees, I'd like to actually be able to follow through with the plan.
Thanks for your help and advice, and also for clearing up the other matter in your e-mail to me.
And I thought you were my friend!! I didn't know they provide that service here. Was it a dumb, silly, question? Can I send you a blank check and still have your respect and eternal friendship??!!
Do you have an agency in Lugansk which Lesya could use to type and send e-mail? She is not a member of any agency, at least to my knowledge. The e-mail service would also need to include translation ability.
What's up, man? Have a good weekend? Yea, I think I'm approaching "most hated member" status, and it was all without really trying.
I'm going to become more laid-back like you, that way, maybe, people won't want to rip on me. I know I have to throw-off my family problems before I get on board here -- I guess my old man's with Jimi now, eh? Later on dude -- your a righteous guy. I saw Woodstock last night. LTR..........
Hi Mattison1
As for the agency. You can use www.russianservice.com
The letter will be translated and sent to Lesya, after that we'll forward you her response, translated as well.We have partners that provide us mailforwarding service all over Ulraine and as far as I know, they have an office in Lugask as well.
be careful in Lugansk as their are a few scam agencys there and some that just do not check there clients at all I just wish I rembered the ok one that my friend Olga was listed at
I don’t understand , at what is problem .
There is a internet- café in Lugansk. And any girl can go there, and make her own e-mail , if she don’t have computer at home ( of course, your girl don’t have it ;))))
Translate – if she really need in it, and if she interested at you even a little , it is very simply to find site with a translator on it. it is free of pay, she must pay only at Internet.
And, if she really like you, and she planning to marry at man from another country, she will can and study English a little ;))) it never will be superfluous.
But even if she talk only at Russian , there is a lot of sites with translators.
For example , this : http://www.translate.ru/rus/text.asp
English at this translator is too better , then my ;))))
P.S. my own experience show , that when girl start to have problems with her agency, nothing serious ( as a marry, or even good friendship with this girl ) will be.
It is always good to here from someone who has been there, done that. The website "www.learningrussian.com" has several free translators to use also, good ones.
about 700 yards, on the right going down the hill, (opposite the puppet theatre) from the main crossroads on which the Lugansk hotel stands. Druzba is clean, friendly and the best in the city by far !!!
$30 to $40 per night inc breakfast. I have stayed there myself, the room and hotel were lovely. (don't miss seeing the sculptures in the front gardens !!)
(Druzba in Russian means Friendships, and this hotel certainly lives up to that ideal)
Stay as far away from the Lugansk hotel as you can .. its a dump !!!
But if you walk past it, check out the cabbages growing wild in the front gardens of this hotel !!! I have piccys if they are now gone ;o))
As to agencies in Lugansk, try
http://www.alinas-friends.com
or info@alinas-friends.com.
I know the owner Alina Kamenskaya personally and she is a lovely lady, I know all her staff too, great girls, very helpful, dead straight and honest. Alina runs a tight ship and all girls are grilled when joining to weed out scamers, anyone who slips through and is subsequently caught later is struck off the agency books immediately.
At least take their phone number with you just in case your intended lady falls through !!!
Also, be sure to eat at least once in "Silvers" its a great restaurant and the food is excellent, service impeccable and not expensive compared to western equivalents. The bowling complex down from the Museum (opposite Lenin statue square) is good fun and the food there is also good.
Last but not least.
Plenty of ATM machines everywhere, use the huts on the streets to change $ into Greevna as the rates are better, and don't forget your pin number for your cards or you will be hours at banks getting cash !!
