As you can see I am just excited and had to share it. Delusion three is believing so called proof of her intentions. Go ahead and get a scanned copy of her visa but it is useless because it will only be a photo-shopped construction anyway. Home delivery is not so common in the east, it is counter service only. Kick your delusions to the curb and go visit. If you can’t afford to do that, you can’t afford a foreign partner. Olga Moderator send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 10/23/2008 1:31:06 PM   there was a very specific question: how did she get the visa:) very common story: she sends copy of visa, she sends copy of passport, then she needs insurance to fl y, then she was pocket picked and lost tickets... so be careful. have you talked to her on the phone? do you have her real address? have you met her in person? if she has problems with tickets, insurance, whatever- DO NOT SEND MONEY. it is her problems. otherwise , it is very possible, one my find went to US to meet her internet firend. she got visa, she visited him, and came back already. no problem:) visa do get issued. Personally I would go see her first, see what she is like, etc. I just think many people on here assume everyone is a scam. If you show you do not trust her and demand she photocopy the vise, etc what do you think that will say to her?? My advice, treat her like she is telling the truth until you know otherwise... At the same time keep a lookout for anything which says she is just playing you for some coin. The issue is the reverse of what MIKE DOUBLE ZERO says, the USA, Canada, etc makes it difficult if not impossible for Ukraine girls to come visit, if you ask me this contributes to the whole problem of human trafficing. I always thought it was the other countries that made it difficult for FSU citizens to visit not that it was the FSU countries keeping them in. I could have misunderstood you though your words jump around so much that it is difficult for me to follow your thoughts. I do not think student visas are that difficult to get. And if you think there are not people in the FSU that have money I think you were asleep when you were there. If you check with the big universities here you will find there are fsu students attending. Of course if she starts asking for money she is probably not coming. I would not worry about scanned copies of her visa. If she is fake she probably has friends who could generate this. BK if I was you I would definitely not act on any of the warnings above. Keep them in the back of your mind in case she asks for money. But if she doesn't and shows up then that in itself proves that she has financial backing to get the visa. If she is real and you give her the third degree she will vacate and you will wind up with a real scammer like some of the folks above did. aussieman41 Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 10/24/2008 12:06:11 AM   She may not have asked for anything up to now and claims to be coming to USA to visit you at Christmas..well like people say a photocopy of a US visitors visa can be "photoshoped", doctored and modified from a real copy of a US visa and there are fake pictures of US visas circulating around the internet. The only way to verify a US visitors visa is real and issued to a correct and real person and is valid for travel is to get a copy of the visa number, name of the person it was issued to and when it was issued and contact the US embassy/conulate in Moscow and give them this information to cross check if the visa is real..in most cases it will be found to be a doctored fake...yes visitors visas are given to single Russian/FSU women but its very rare and hard to get one as is the same case with other countries such as Australia, United Kingdom and Canada. Only send money to her if the visa is verified as real and valid for travel by the US embassy in Moscow and the air tickets are confirmed real by the airline AND only mimimal amount is required for travel...there is no requirement to carry any money into the US or show $1000 money at Moscow airport before she can leave to officials there ( these are common scams ) and visas don't cost $400 or $1000 usd or some other excuse you have to pay for medical tests for visitors visa ( no such thing, another scam ), US visitors visa is no more than $150 usd in cost for the application. Often these girls will not ask for money until they pull off the "I need money for a US visitors visa and air ticket at the airport sting" when they start asking for hundreds or thousands of dollars at the last minute or they can't travel and are dying for your love and to visit you ( play on your emotional vulnerability, desperateness to get you to part with money you will not see again and you won't see the girl at your airport at the other end while you wait there like a stunned mullet for a no show ) or another famous sting and scam "I lost my Russian passport and it will cost a $1000 to replace it and the visa inside it" which is total B.S Many of these FSU women who turn out to scammers will not ask for money from the start..the smart ones are very patient because they know asking for money early on, over the internet does not work anymore so they play you and your emotions and pull the visa/airfare sting/lost passport at the airport to ask for moeny scam at the last minute so you hand over money thinking she is coming on a plane to see you and she don't turn up..very old scam. Wake up, don't be so gullible. MikeOO is right and buy the way we are not brothers..not related, my grammar and spelling is far better than his but he gets his point across regardless!
