With the ukraine economy going into freefall 2009 will see more and more ladies become desperate to get a western man for partner.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7692017.stm
Well thats good - as long as they dont want the bloke to bring em to ''poverty west '' i reackon thats great.
ukraine mate ahh --so in 2009 they all have 10 cents where as the best they ever had was 25 cents they used to hardship .
may teach em to apprieciate the ''white knights'' just a bit more huh !
still economies such as russia and ukraine --through corrupt do tend to make there own monsters ! the first to cry foul when it all falls over
penny economy no structure behind it ! lucky to be 4 money box's fullu coins in the treasury ! lol..
maybe be a good thing TO get em back to reality through economy collapse take em back 20 years = where it should be !
they were fools to even try place emselves onto the western economy ladder !
no money !!!
you know we should get ticker tape parade when the westerner arrives akin to ''END OF WAR CELEBRATIONS ''
HE'S HEAR WE ARE SAVED bring out the band ! !!! ( as your the only bloke in town with more than $500 -------i give you the tip !)
biggest problem with russia and ukraine is they dont see that without the numbers of westerners in business and putting money in through tarts ( be it wroughts or whatever ) they really are back on board that wagon with the wooden wheels fullu cabbages !
its dead easy to turn russia / ukraine back 50 years --just toss out all the westerners you'l have poverty on tap - big time in 24 hours !
They are nothin without us!!! -----its just they to silly to see it !
yes they all going down the drain but --we have assetts and money = they own 3 sets of clothes 2 pair boots 6 dinner plates and a 5 year old mobile??????
no comparrison really -------
we in west in our poorest scenario could still round up 50k each ======== they can't!!!!
they live on the edge 24/7 - big difference betwixed places on the skids being UK/ AUSSIE / USA ETC - TO LIKE UKRAINE / RUSSIA .
( talk about the ''poor cousins'' )
THEY ONLY NEED 10 BAD DAYS AND THEY ARE TRULY ALL OUT FOR A DUCK .
AND MUMS ''GETTING SOLD'' YOU KNOW !!
comparing russia / ukraine to the west !!
LIKE COMPARING --''CAVE ECONOMY'' WITH THE --MILLIONS CLUB!!!
NO COMPARISION REALY IS THERE .
Since I am heading out tomorrow morning the exchange rate will help out on my end. just passed 6 uah to 1 usd. the good thing about any economy in a stable country is in time it will recover.
Not all single women from ukraine will want to leave there. Some will endure it and others will go to Dubai,Turkey,Russia. I think the knock on economic effect in Moldova though will be even worse.
True how true but places like ukraine never had a lot to start with! and 15 years back they were still living 7 to a flat now they graduted its only 5 to a flat - they still got a long way to go!
6uah to the $1 aint bad it could be worse --look at our aussie dollar 60 cents my god!
= shame job huh !
i wish you well mate on your trip
As they say ! keep yu powder dry lol lol .
dont get yu drink spiked always get her to take the first gulp ! she falls down!! you'l know she was all loyalty to you ! lol lol.
better her than you -lol lol.
Nexxxxxxttttt!!!!!))))))))))))))))
don't tell her got 2 cents ok -tell her yu bust ! THAT WAY HER EXPECTATIONS ARE NIPPED IN THE BUD BEFORE THE PANTS DANGLE AROUND THE ANKLES!
good luck

These places totally devoid of morals --no ''help your mate '' about any of em !to selfish nobody gives a shit if yu die !
no welcoming committee at the airport? - no fanfare? - no congrats? just thump ! stamp the passport the arab does that !
grunts - he smells real bad like he had a roll in the sand with a camel !
No shieks collecting you at airport in a Roller -- come on brother come back to my DIGS ! put yu feet up !! - hear i got 7 tarts ? - grab yuself 1 ? - like a can of fosters ??
no there is just hospitality at all huh ! about em !
no it just wont do huh ! there tourism got a long way to go to get up to standard !
I doubt if any Ukrainian girl would be interested more now than before. Out of the frying pan into the fire I'd say.
Were talking about the Ukrainian bank and finance economy here, not the grass roots economy where most of the folks in Ukraine work. Most of it is hard cash market, no tax declarations, pension, insurance, sickness benefit...etc like we have in the west.
Backhanders isn't even in the dictionary ...it's just how its done there.
Just shows how much the western dollar coming into Ukraine means to their economy...all tourism.
They need the IMF to bolster that economy.
As far as girls leaving for the west even more now; what did they do before the dollar came in? They didn't starve...all they're missing now is that new outfit or mobile that mr foreign boyfriend buys.
Have to aggree with Martin here, UK economy hasn't hit rock bottom yet. Were all still waiting for that to happen.
I saw the dollar/hyrvnia ratio highest for me when I was there couple weeks ago. First time I was in ukraine couple years ago the ratio was about 5.12-1 ( hyrvnia/dollar). During the summer, I was told the ratio got as low as 4.90-1. When I left recently, I saw the rate as high as 5.54-1, so I am not surprised it is up to 6-1. Guess it is good for foreigners(from US). When I was in Moldova, which is based on euros, both the pound and euro were taking a beating to the lei....the dollar stayed pretty consistent.
As far as girls desparate to leave because of economy.....that is a joke. You are right Kirk.....girls are doing fine there, they are used to what they have had their entire lives. Sure a few bucks will open their eyes but only for short time, if a girl will leave her country it will be because she thinks she has found the right man.
Most leave when parents are dead -they are the best ones to take out - if you have to take one from ukraine / russia grab one thats got no reason to go back ( family dead ) save yu a lotu bux in fares back to mum.
truly from what i see in Aussie ( the trips back home scenario is the very main unbringing of relations hear )
she cost the guy 15k a year go back to clean mums toilet you know ! thats the biggest killer hear - not she she's deciet hear
no no no -its her crazy expectations to go back FSU 4/6 TIMES A YEAR JUST TO SAY HELLO TO SISTER
thats what if anything stuffs 90% relations hear --is her pangs for money to go back home
they got a friggin cheek expect any man pay that .
i mean at days end ---------either you live hear or you live there
i reackon they married hear live hear / they should tear up the passport lol truly i do .
mike00
ps yes kirkland without western dollars they in big grief take it away see what happems she be free fall for a year huh !! you'd see poverty stalinst style at once !
but i wonder do they realise that?? hmmm --food for thought huh !
i think they got short memories lol lol.
After 5 years of marriage, he paid her $49 million.
Assuming he banged her every night during their 5 year relationship (and
being married men, we all know THAT doesn't happen), it ends up costing him
$26,849 per lay, not counting attorney's fees and court costs.
On the other hand, Elliot Spitzer's call girl Kristen charges $4,000 an
hour. Crazy, right?
But...
Had Paul McCartney employed Kristen for 5 years, he would've paid $7.3
million for an hour of screwing every night for 5 years (a saving of
$41+million).
Value-added benefits are: a hot 22 year old, no begging, no coaxing, never
a headache, wide open menu, ability to put BOTH legs around you, no bitching
and complaining or "to do" lists. Best of all,
she leaves when you're done, and comes back the next day, ready for another
round. All at 1/7th the cost, with no legal fees.* *
Interesting Post.
Ukraine is now in big trouble. I really fear for their future looking out this next few years at least !!!!
C V Grant has a valid point/prediction/dream – call it what you want.
Things will change for the worse so the upswing of late (and it sure did not last long) will put people back a peg or two. The young (20 – 30) year olds will probably feel it the worst. Not financially in their pocket so much, but more their social patterns will possibly be dampened somewhat.
My wife’s daughter arrived here 6 weeks ago. She stayed with us for 2 weeks and then to work in Wellington. She has literally hit the ground running. She rings her mum 2 -3 times a day and tells here how happy she is. She has experienced more in this last few weeks than here whole 20 years prior. She has been proposed to twice already and asked out on dates daily. She has found a boy friend with his own house – car – Ducati etc etc – she cant believe the difference here compared to Kiev.
Getting paid every Tuesday night – direct into her Bank account is mind blowing to her. She has money to spend on things she wants and likes – never before has she felt this or had this.
So – 2 points here
I say yes to Grants prediction - my reason for this is, I have seen the change in Kiev over a 5 year timeframe and also on this Forum. Success in finding women has become harder and harder, mainly due to them feeling more stable and seeing a better future at home.
I also say that even in the good time of this last few years that Ukraine and other FSU countries have been experiencing, they are still handicapped with social and work opportunities, even though they thought they were much better off and looking even better in the future.
Beemer
The bloody Grv was only 4.54 while we were there June/July
Maxi iam in touch daily with 2 business guys 1 in russia with a misting business and my other mate in ukraine ive got another business mate in lithuiania most reports are bleak
they painting a pretty dark picture with the ukraine having the dimmest candel~
its not good mate they dont have enough -straw under the blanket so to speak ( lolly ) to young in the game russia got a bit more fat ( been trying a bit longer ) but ukraine id be bloody worried - they just got nothing to fall back on !
no safety net you know -there if your bust your bust - no refuge !
yes your correct it will effect the 20/ id say to 35 years olds with a kiddy or two yu got to wonder --what do they do huh !!!
my mate in ukraine tells me a pattern the birds are getting tired trying to adapt western men - not that there has been any town to speak off this year he says !
The spare cash aint there either for us to travel you know say from Aussie mate
the $2100 visa an all incluse fares of 2005 are long gone !
I know 1 guy in my suburb used to go ''drop of a hat ; he has $$$ but no way now ay - its just getting to hard and blokes hear are finding other appealing crumpet in closer countries .
The shines fast fading away from FSU --PUT A DEPRESSION STYLE ECONOMY OVER THERE INTO BEING ! and i mean then whats the attraction???
birds back home with mum
economy down the gurgler
air fares and costs through the roof
its no recipe for anybody to grab the bag and passport ay !
last thing the few that are still going are going to want to see is em fighting over a feed in the street and they snag a crooked bird --take the shine off yu day ay !
ive got a few bux invested iam watching it evaporate iam watching the FSU economy too , iam also watching couple sweed companies i was doing contract work for -sack 1/2 the workforce
nothing good taking place from sweden to fsu to any of those countries they all in the shit --and if stock market is correct --by the end of next month the directors be carrying swags and hitting the road on foot like they did in 1930 .
tin cup/ stick with a bag on the end / and holes in the knees of trousers .
= arss outu pants !
no i would not have a $$$ tied up in ukraine at present if was given to me for free = yu gunnu lose it huh.
stark reality happening there at the moment - its scary
GIVE YOU COUPLE EXAMPLES
GO ON LINE GOOGLE TYPE IN SEE THE SHARES THESE 2 COMPANIES very big companies 1 is/ was worth 33 billion - it aint now
its shares 11th august were 85.2 krona around $14.65 AUD
YESTERDAY THEY ARE 42 KRONA AROUND $6.70 aud ! ( so in 60 odd days they lost 60% there worth sorry it took em 4 years in boom times to amass this worth --ok how long will it take em in poverty forccast to recover?? -or will they recover ????
SANDVIK & ATLAS COPCO !! between em (and they have factories and outlets in russia and ukraine) these 2 companies have 267 factories outlets worldwide and a totaL of around 90.000 employees there shedding staff like a snake shedding its skin and these two crowds back in early august were worth 66 billion betwixed the 2 .
they have more than - halved there worth in 60 odd days !!! --------no thanks il put my bux under the bed ay !!!
now if you got power houses like that falling over - then well ! if they cant survive = who can huh !
they are a good indicator - if the super rich going bust then what hope the rest huh ?

A cannibal was walking
through the jungle and came upon a restaurant operated by a
fellow cannibal. Feeling somewhat hungry, he sat down and
looked over the menu.
+ Tourist - $5
+ Broiled Missionary - $7.00
+ Fried Explorer - $9.00
+ Freshly baked Republicans, or Democrats - $150.00
The cannibal called the waiter over and asked, '
Why such a huge price difference for the Politicians?'
The cook replied,'Have you ever tried to clean one? They're so full of
shit, it takes all morning.

well I am flying out today I will up date you guys as time permits. I will be in Sumy for 5 days with a lady named Alla then Natalia in Kyiv for a day on my way out.
good old Sumy,if you see a guy in a dodge ram (yes a ram in sumy, the only one) thats my x-brother in law ,but dont wave hes a shocker .
have a good time
Mike
Agree with you !!
Tell me – the like of Gazprom. Their shares have plummeted by 70% this last 6 weeks. They would have to be good investment “long term” ?????
Actually I just see today they have jumped 16%.
I will be honest with you – if it wasn’t for my wife’s anti home investment and not trusting anyone with her/our $$$ - I would have invested in Russian shares before they tumbled, I reckoned they oil/petro companies had to be a winner – lucky me !!!
The Oligarch’s are been reined in real quickly. Their combined approx wealth of 330 billion has evaporated to an estimated 60 billion !!!
Putin will have them (the ones he not like) on their knees very soon. They cant operate without borrowing, all of which until lately has been from outer Russia. That has all been called back in, so they are in deep shit. It will be interesting to monitor this next few months.
You are correct about reserves. Russia does have a very healthy reserve, but Ukraine – nothing. They have just been granted a 16.5 Billion loan from the IMF, that’s if Yulia dosnt stuff it up with her attached conditions she is mentioning.
There is talk of the pension been cut back or stopped. The people will suffer.
I mentioned on here before about the massive increase in consumer spending via Credit. Most I saw ( I saw plenty and know personally some in Kiev) borrowed for Turkey trips and cars – I said then (before this crisis) that they had no asset and a very low salary to repay. There could be a lot of family apartments taken from some. They will take them – mark my word. Probably the plan all along.
So – its going to get very tuff for 80% of them.
What’s happening with the Aussie real estate market. Starting to show signs here of a drop, but not a lot of stress out there yet.
