First, what are the "agencies" that control the girls? What restrictions, obligations and additional costs do the agencies charge? Secondly, is it possible to meet a nice woman through this process? I must admit that I am discouraged looking at most of the posts to this forum. Finally, does this site perform any role in the process other than to sell the means to communicate and incidentals like flowers, etc.? Thank you in advance for your comments. Reasonable cost and provide a good service. About meeting a nice woman trough this process I’m not sure either because I’m a newbe but I can share some experiences. In the beginning I had a hard time trying to establish a nice and easy going communication because I find many girls (or translators) so damn stiff and serious (this is my opinion). Besides after eleven replies I was confused mainly because I think many / most of the reply letters appears to have the same contents. I always write my first mail in a simple and friendly way. Okay I confess, most of the replies say; sorry but this girl is not interested of corresponding with you. But those whom like my style and replied have become my dear friends. One girl even asks me for advice about her correspondence with a guy. Pretty cool :) One of my experiences is that girls with humble ads are the pleasant ones to corresponding with. I avoid ads that say; you must be a successful business man, athletic, financial secure, know how to take care of a woman etc. I mean what is the chance a lady like that is interested in my heart and inside qualities? I think most of us are regular folks working and living a normal life, no movie stars or kings. They are all great guys in this forum. Good advices and interesting reading. I dont know exactly what the agencies resrictions are and I think costs vary from agency to agency. Personally, I have talked with 15 or 20 ladies and have recently decided on which one I want the most. She wrote to me first which I think is a good thing because she was interested enough to write to me. I know Fiance.com just fowards your letter without translation. The girl will pay for the use of a computer, translation and the vice-versa to send you a letter back. I dont know of the restrictions but through my lady I got a service through her agency now and we have our own private email. They are deleting her from any advertising on the web as long as we keep in contact together. She gets my letters delivered to her and translated for her. She has her own time on the computer, they translate her letters to me and she can send me any pictures as well as receive mine at no charge to her. Plus I dont think she has to wait on any lines for computer use or translation if shes there in person. I'm going to find out about that. Anyway, My advice is to research and find the right girl then research more about all this scam stuff, you can definitly get screwed. ..Good luck... chipscher Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 11/19/2003 3:53:54 PM   I lik ethis site, because it is legit, and Olga, the moderator of this forum, seems to care a great deal, and is also very knowlegable. The VIP membership is cheap, and you can use all of the services. I have not had anyone ask me for internet time money, or money for anything other than the cost of travelling to see me. I know that if one of us has a concern, Olga does her best to weed out the offenders. I too stay away from ads that ask for "Financially Secure" I think that if there is true love there, the woman would not mind living in a house, or a van by the river. There are many good people on the site, most guys seem to be "average Joe's" and the girls seem to be "Average Janes". All I can advise is to watch out for the ones who ask or hint about money relativly quickly, and those who say "I love you" without you telling them much about you. Good luck, my friend!
