I have found hundreds of Russian and Ukraine women living close to me. They seem to congregate around the larger cities, for me that is Chicago and Detroit. I have had correspondence with some but many of them ask Americanized questions, invariable the "first" thing out of their mouth was what my work was. Next difference I have noticed is they want younger men as compared to their FSU counterparts. Third difference is their pictures… they do not dress as nice as their FSU counterparts. For me… I always wonder if they are the ones that came here on a fiancé visa then divorced quickly after receiving their green card. I get a feeling they are now proceeding with the second stage of "their plan"… to improve their economic status.… keep your eyes open and think with the big head not the small head. Yeah Valentines day is another way to get into a guys pocket LOL!! It's really funny how small the world is. In the small town we live in there are a couple of Russian speakers. Though my wife has many more friends in Louisville and commutes there often to mingle with her culture. As Coop states above they tend to go to larger cities, but also if you have a major university in your area you will find many FSU people there.
