Hello there.
Can anyone inform me as to the waiting time for a fiance visa for a prospective spouse to come from Russia to Australia. DIMIA say up to 7 months or even more, then they say it could be quicker. ???? has anyone any ideas.
Find a lawyer. I do not know if it is the same or not, but in the USA, I hear that people who hire lawyers get their parwork done quicker and more accuratly, and also have an easier time in the Consulate if they are represented.
Apparantly Oldman & Raging Bull are a little behind here in answering to a guy almost 6 years later. What is next....telling the Titanic not to sail????
I did post about an updated time, since this thread had been re-dredged. Anyway, my fiance is in Moscow now, for the Medical Examination today and Embassy appointment tomorrow.
Australia! Everything went smoothly, and Dasha was told it could be a minimum 2 months (medical reports go to Australia for review, and back) and a maximum of 10 months. Not all that helpful :)
But atleast she was told that ours is a strong application and all of the documents were pristine :)
But how is 2 weeks, possible?
Anyway, the next wait begins. Soon, it will be over :)
