It just so happens that the first girl I wrote to was the girl I ended up marrying. She was from Sumy, Ukraine, after initially writing to her I decided to visit her in Ukraine. I was so nervous, visiting somewhere like Ukraine on my own was such a daunting prospect; but I did it and was not dissapointed! Since then I have visited Ukraine many times and now know Kiev very well (well worth visiting). My Wife now lives here in the UK with me and we both work hard. I am nothing special, not particularly good looking, certainly not rich (we live in a room at my parents). But we are blissfully happy together - it has been a long struggle to get visa's etc but now we can live a relatively normal life. I would offer the following advice: 1.Be honest - always, no future relationship will work if you lie to her. 2.Don't go for the model types, they are usually to god to be true, my wife had a very modest photo, but in real life was more gorgeous than any girl I had seen on this site. 3.Use your intuition, if She asks you for money , be very careful, even when my wifes asks for moey I have been cautious.
