I have been in communication with a lovely lady from azov for about 4 weeks. Her letters are in general, nice, warming and informative. However as i have allready been the target of several scammers, (not one has got a penny out of me yet, mind)i don't know whether i am being over cautious, to picky or what. Some of the finer details don't quite add up. 1) she has told me about her family, her father and her brother. Her father lives with her buit her brother nearby. I have arranged for a conference call, but the email back from the operator to say that it had been arranged, said they had arranged it with her sister. Where did she come from????? 2) on her profile it descibes her eye colour as brown, but it is quite clear to see that her eyes are grey in the photo's she has sent to me. 3) it was her request for a conference call, but i do whole heartedly agree, but she writes fairly good english, of course she could be having assistance writing them, but then that means that the words might not have her meaning but someone elses. 4) she has not indicated that she is ready to commit herself to me yet, but her received mail keeps ticking up slowly. No harm in that i am doing the same, so fair do's. I can only say that i am genuinely interested in her because of the way that she writes to me, and i don't want to turn a possible success into a failure because i am being to warey. Any advice would be more than welcome. chipscher Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 12/11/2003 10:53:36 PM   1) this is the most suspect in my opinion, maybe she has one but forgot to mention? 2) eye color can change, especially with the weather, or maybe the flash of the camera made them appear grey, or some other factor. 3) most of these ladies use the translation service of the agency 4) Just because she recieves e-mails does nto mean she is saying the same things to them. Every conversation, personality, etc. is different. I would say to play it out, see what happens. Can't be sure but what a coincidence, they both come from the same city, and the same registration date on their accounts. The new one wrote me a letter introducing herself. She answered all questions satifactorily. She said what kr and the chipscher said, re her 'sister, the translator also explained this the same way. Told me the funeral was yesterday, so if that was the begining of a scam it was soon over? No my gut feeling is good, she sounds perfect and i am going to do my best to quell those negative feelings. Now have her private address which fiancee.com have confirmed matches her membership. Good job this site is set up this way otherwise i would be nowhere by now, instead i have just received an offer to go and stay with her, as soon as i can get my travel visa. Just 1 thing, has anyone ever heard of an agency called orchid based in the rostov area? Have tried search engines but nothing.
