Wally J even if they do not it is relatively simple, just go on the internet and use a search engine to locate your nearest Embassy for the country you are visiting, it is only a short form to fill in for russia. If you can't find any holidays to your location then you ask the search engine fo (the city/tourism) and the answer will give you info on how to book the hotels.
Dependes on where you want to go. I am sure this site provides the service, but if not, there is a very good travel agency that has an excellent reputation in Yoshkar-Ola, they will set you up with everything you need. I do not know the website offhand, but it is called "virginia travel agency". An internet search should be of help, or I know the people who run "www.yorussia.com" know them.
St. Petersburg is a big city, must have a big travel agency. Maybe have your lady stop in to a few and get information for you. Also, I do not know where you are from, but there are some large travel agencies in the USA that might be able to help.
Ok, try the agency first, and ask your lady to try a travel agent there. If you are not comfortable with that, if you are near to Salt Lake City, there must be a large travel agent there. If not, try looking on the 'net. I am sure you can get a nice package. Actually, I was looking on Expedia.com, and airfare isn't that bad, you might want to check that too, i know there are hotels and stuff there. Another thought is to check with Aeroflot. All the airlines here have air + hotel deals, St. Pete is a big city, maybe Aeroflot may have a deal with a nice hotel. Maybe that is something else your lady can look into for you. If you show her you trust her with the arrangements, it might score some points for you.
Yeah! um how can i say this expedia isn't the cheapest or the best, that takes research. Individual airlines offer amazing deals. Some even genuine bargains on their auction sites, one lad i know has just6 had a holliday in barbados, from the uk, 3 weeks mind and include car hire(new merc) and flights, just £5. thats about 7.5 us dollars i believe.
The real secret is to find the auctions that have no bottom limit on the bids. I have forgotten which,(ebay tell info) but there are names for different types of auctions
You will get others who'll say that paying for a honeymoon is a bit of a waste as you never seem to come out of the room, on the other hand i'm a romantic i think, so i would go to some exotic place. And spend time learning the cultures, oh yes and maybe spend time with my wife if she's around early in the morning. ha ha ha
ps Bangkok hotels offer great deals for honeymooners.
hmmmmm....2 schools of thought......spending lots of time in the room?.......not an unpleasant thought..:))),and seeing the sights??......guess I will have to try to balance things out and leave the thoughts of "baby gladiators" until I get home.
