So they are quite different. If your going to be spending most of you time at the beach then Yalta is probably a better bet. Odessa on the other hand will offer more of a variety of things to do but is also a great place to just chill out at a street cafe. If you go to yalta the petri mountain cable car is a must-do excursion.
