Olga, a lady I correspond with, ID# 20102 from Riga, Latvia, tells me it is forbidden for her to give me her address and telephone number. What is going on?
Chip; in an earlier subject I had a similar question for Olga and her response was that it was up to the lady to provide her address and phone number. A question back to you though is when you call Russsia have you tried any of the internet phone services? I have been looking into them and Vonage offers .03 per minute service.
She implied that the agency is forbidding her to give it out. I had te same problem not to long ago, but the lady snuck to an internet cafe to send me the info. She told me that the agencies do not want to allow the lady to give out that info because they may lose the business of that person, if we were to write via post, and make telephone calls. The agency wants to bleed as much money out of myself, and the lady, and they restrict the information that, according to the vip membership, should be provided free.
That sounds a little fishy. My ladies agency quickly sent me her address and number, I didn't even have time to ask. When she moved they quickly sent me her new info even before she had a chance to do it herself.
Yea, fishy with the agency. I did not ask her for the info, she wrote one day that she wanted to give it to me because it was hard for her to visit the agency, and she would like fo rme to call her to hear my voice. Apparently she wrote the info in a e-mail to me, and the agency took it out and told her not to put it in. Like I said, that is the second time this has happened.
Chip, had a similar one a while back, and when i wrote and asked her how i could eventually contact her, as i could not expect to just keep emailing for ever, my letters were suddenly allowed through with my contact details on.
There is absolutely no valid reason for any agency to withold the requested information, providing the lady is willing to give it of course. An answer should be forthcoming Chip.......and sooner rather than later.
CHIP, what is the business that the agency would be loosing. Is there fee involved? Do the girls pay to receive a letter? Does Fiance.com pay the agency for each correspondence? I am confused where is the loss of Business?
its alway a loss of business for every agency if their girl starts correspondence with man directly. In this case man doesnt needs any agencies any more-means they are loosing potential customer for whom they can arrange a meeting with girl, provide interpreter services etc.
yes fiance.com pays agencies for correspondence, but what the agencies get for one message doesnt cover the cost of correspondence in any wayf one message of VIP member can be nearly 0.001$ sometimes, depending on the number of letters send by him).In many agencies girls have to pay for correspondence themselves. because you probably understand that 30$ that vip members pay for unlimited messages can pay the translations of the messages.
Thats why local agencies try to keep their girl in the agencies in hope to get this customer to use their services one day.
olga, I cannot understand that reasoning, because your site offers a travel service, which naturally I will use when I visit. Why does the agency feel the ned to retain a customer if I woul duse your service? If it is your polocy to force girls not to give out their address and phone numbers, A) how can I even hear her voice, and talk like a human being, instead of just e-mails, and B) that is very poor customer service. You say that my 30 dollars goes to print and translate. That makes me the customer. As teh customer, I pay to correspond with someone, and if I discuss writng a letter, or talking on teh phone, that is me, as a customer, making a request to the lady, who should be allowed to provide that information. I cannot send a Christmas card to her because i do not know her address. If this is the type of operation you run, I don't think I would want to be a member, where both myself and lady feel trapped, forced to use your service. Seems like Communisim is still alive and well at your agencies.
chipscher, may be you dont understand something, but what I was saying you was about local agencies. This is not fiance.com that doesnt give you the lady's address, this is the agency she is from. You've been using our site for a while so probably you know that we allow all ladies give their addresses for anyone they want. And beleive me, if a lady does want to do it, local agency cant stop her from doing it .
a)as for her voice-ask her to give a phone number, this is allowed as well. if she doesnt gives it to you-we have nothing to do with that.
b)we didnt say that your membership fee pays for translation. we forward the messages you sent us to the agencies and they sent us a response in english. we dont translate anything here. Count a number of messages you sent and receive a responses per month and you will easily understand that there is no way we could cover the cost of translations.
No one forces you to use our services( as well as nobody forces ladies to do it).Ladies do whats the most convenient for them.Noone is trapped here-give lady your direct address and see what she will choose-to write you directly or continue using her agency. I guess she will choose the second option.
And please dont make general conclusions about the site only by one particular situation with one lady in one agency.Did other girls say you the same things?
Every day hundreds of girls send their addresses to men from this site. And if somebody didnt do it( using her agency as an excuse)please dont blame us for that. As I already explained, for many ladies using of the agency its much more convenient, then direct correspondence.
As for visits-yes you are right. But the one thing is what you think about it, and the other thing is what local agencies think about it. They want to get their money too and usually by the time it comes to meetings, customer prefers to contact the agency of the girl directly- because its more convenient for a lady.
Yes, i have had this problem with other ladies, one had to go to an internet cafe to give me her address, and now no longer uses the agency, but uses the internet cafe. Most of the correspondence will be through the agency, I just want to be able to send Christmas gifts, and talk on the phone every couple weeks.
