I have come to the end of my journey as a canidate- as i will be married 1-23-10. This special time in my life was started with anticipation, excitement and curiosity.Although she wasnt found overseas(3 rows back in a church I had attended for 4 years)all the pre-nupts are signed and house "nesting" with her has allready started I wrote, filmed for 2 years, and documented with a American PBS show what drives us guys to look for that someone so elusive-overseas- we just dont seem to find our mate in our "culture" Does feminism have anything to do with it? Maybe- but its been my opinion of this first time married 45 year old male- that somehow - we have not claimed on definite roles by gender. Good grief Oprah- Who needs a guy when "the lady" can go down to the local sperm bank and get her a DNA? What happened with the girl from Barnaul? Interesting note, a friend is bringing his gf to states in 2 months and found her on first trip, second girl and asked me why in a few years in fsu I haven't found my partner, well, I just told him I probably haven't met her yet....she cound be down the block, in restaurant next door while I am in odessa or one seat over while at airport waiting for flight in kiev......it is more luck, timing and some form of destiny.
