Hi, my first time here after trawling the internet trying to get information on the best way to be able to marry my girlfriend who is Moldovan national, Moscow resident. We have been in relationship for a year and a half and we have met up on numerous occasions around Europe. We can "prove" our relationship with tickets/mails/photos etc and I can prove my status in London with flat/job etc. The difficulty I have is finding the best way to go about getting married, Ive read many different stories and want to find out what is fact and what is fiction, has anyone got any proven ways to do this successfully? Thanks in advance.
Hello fastest, a good friend is married to a moldovian girl and living in moldova, he is british also and can advise you on steps needed for you, here is his site. Feel free to ask any questions.
Tell him a friend from LA said hello.
Hi fastest, I agree with beemer, talk to his friend, on how to get married in moldova, he can help and help with whats required for the visa for the UK. It would help if you tell us what passport(s) you have also..british I assume?
hey Ben....how are u doing? Haven't been to moldova since last year, just harder and expensive.
I figured best way is to get to odessa and then take the 5 hour bus ride...those border officals
can really be a drag.
I can to Kiev for ~$700 and it would be~$1300 to Chisinau in april.
Hi beemer, i'm good thanks, was just having a few beers with richard today actually. I know its expensive to get here, but worth it. Yes Odessa then bus is the best bet from than US. Your right about the border guards but if your with a local its never an issue.
I was in Chininau last year and the flights were just slightly more than flying to Kiev. I checked the same site and it was much higher. I just tried one other site and it became competitive again. CheapAir.com. Some travel sites loose their edge from time to time.
Rodan...competitive again? not sure exactly which cities you talking about but I checked cheap@air
and it has similar rates to others I had checked....for me at least....difference is around $600.
