I have since sold up,emergrated, married and now help my Ukrainian wife run her business in Kharkov. We are often contacted by these dating agencies and they just seem to fleece the guys that come to meet these girls. The agencies rent the cheapest possible apartments and put the guys there for 3 days. It just makes me mad to see them in action. I have not heard of any good reports about the agencies. My advise is log on to a direct contact site, like I did. Yes I paid , but only $10 for an upgrade of membership. The rest was up to us directly. We spoke by skype and eventually I travelled to Ukraine. I cocked up the visa thing, but thats a different story ! There are lots of genuine ladies here of all ages looking for western men, really. The reason is that the guys here are mostly arrogant vodka heads who dont treat them like ladies. The women here are beautiful and most speak English. There are many fantastic women here, but do you really think a gorgeous 20 year old girl will want a 50 year old guy ! - just dont believe everything thats said. We have many friends here and yes the age gap can be 10-14 years sometimes, but it is not the norm. I left England and started a new life and never looked back. The country and people are great fun. I didn't plan his , I think I was lucky. I wish you all the best finding someone, they are all here waiting, but try to use your head and dont get scammed. I see it too much. sjg-uk Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 2/23/2010 5:26:40 PM   if and hopefully when you deside to come to Ukraine and you are using an Agency, br carefull about the extras that they will want to see you, ie, translator, apartment rental, taxis srvice etc - as the Dating Agencies charge up to twice the normal price, they call it their all inclusive package !! - yes use them to help fin a genuine girl for you, but go independantly. This is not a country full of Russian Bandits and Mafia ! (well not anymore in Kharkov at least !!) We run kharkov-for-rent , there are a few good companies , like ours, who own property here, a lot better than paying Agencies twice the price. They always rent from us the cheapest apartments and charge more than we do for our luxury ones - save your money to take your girl out !!
