A lady on the Fiance site just recently wrote to me saying that if I wanted to communicate with her again, it must be through that site! I had never heard of it before, but when I checked it out its a pay as your write rip off site and many of the ladies on Fiance seem to be on it. Think there is some sort of scam going on. " Well the lady is definitely on the take, since there is no way that a genuine lady would ever insist on communicating through a pay-per-letter agency any more than absolutely necessary. Report her to Fiance admins as I'm sure it is a breach of their T&Cs to solicit you into using another site. As for whether the agency is crooked, well the fact is that a certain amount of "entrapment" i.e. getting guys to pay for letters under false pretenses, happens on every site that makes you pay per letter. Having said that there are some genuine ladies on most sites. Big clue for the clueless out there: If the first pictures you see of ladies is of them in underwear and swimsuits and posing sexily and professionally.......Run Away. No self-repecting woman will post those types of pictures as her primary photos. I then went ahead and trawled through a few of the profiles just out of interest. And yes, there are many faces on there who I recognised from the Fiance site. For sure there are some incredible pictures on there, but like you say Baron, when faced with photos like that, it is a clear scam. More disturbingly, I came across a lady on there who I have actually met twice - a sweet lady who I like alot, yet one who I had also begun to have very slight doubts about recently due to an apparent change in her attitude, and that was before I saw her face on there. I have so many doubts now, that I am going to abandon my next trip to see her which was to be next month and look for another lady. I feel very very aggrieved at finding this lady on what is essentially a scam site. I have emailed her and asked her about her involvement on that site, and the subject was kind of glossed over. From speaking with her all the time on Skype before, she is now more elusive. I have been trying this game for too long and am thinking I should have already given up!! Sadly I dont think it is possible to trust a Ukrainian lady anymore. Never spent a dime afterwards. " Well she may be involved in a bit of letter scamming on that site but I would trust your feelings from your meeting rather than condemn her over that. Was she genuinely affectionate to you ?, did she get upset when you were leaving ? did she take you on shopping trips ? etc etc. Remember that you should be looking for someone with a good heart not someone who is scrupulously honest (since such a thing doesn't generally exist in FSU countries). Are you kidding me? Any average minded person would look at this - granted I only saw two pages of young ladies in overtly sexy poses with little clothes - and laugh to them-self that this is obviously a joke. Or more actually a scam site. As Baron stated, any self respecting person would not even consider posing like this if they were serious about finding a respectable man. The guy I was meeting; who was acting as my guide for the weekend, offered some "entertainment" for the evenings by way of introduction to some young ladies. He showed me a site which was basically an internet brothel. You take your pick of the girls who are photoshopped in provocative poses and garb and ring for one (or more) to come round. "Not all girls here... but quality is same" I think he said..Meaning all the girls had their faces blanked since some were professional models some were hookers. Other than the blanked faces, the site was very similar to the sites people ask about here. Its much more of a continuum. At one end of the scale there are the "old style" ultra conservative women who only have woolly sweaters and cheap spectacles on in their pics, who would literally die rather than show any flesh on the internet, and at the other, the "bikini models" with their obviously fake tits and almost certainly all letter scammers and pro daters. "neo" - Vkontakte has now 61 million members, most in the FSU, completely free, no ads, never pay for anything, it seems that everybody here knows about this site, and so many are members. I met my girl on this site last November, a week of messaging then a meeting in the Centre, been together ever since. Good luck with it. The lady that I had previously met in Zaporozhye who is now on that site has bit the bullet. I have said that I am not travelling over there to see her anymore. I no longer think that she is genuine and her appearance on that site has just re-inforced my growing suspicions that she also is nothing more than yet another gold digger.
