Either going on their socials or meeting someone individually. i am not saying that things ended in marriage, i just mean the person that they met seemed sincere and interested. For me, its been a mixed bag. a few years ago, i exchanged phone numbers with a girl when i arrived and she came to meet me in kiev. she was sincere and there was no cost to me. now, i am trying to arrange meetings with a few girls. i am getting the impression, that when i arrive and leave my ukranian phone number, that the agency interpreter will call me and not the girl herself. i see this as very troubling. i'm interested in other peoples experiences. if you don't have any good experiences feel free not to contribute. there are plenty of threads for the bad experiences. thank you. ragingbull Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 3/25/2010 9:23:02 PM   I don't have any good experiences or any experiences with Anastasia and I don't have your permission to post on your thread. Regarding Anastasia, I lost contact and wanted to get in touch with a girl I met previously (not through Anastasia and it's a long story why we lost contact) BUT... I discovered she was registered with them, so contacted her through the site, and the local agency were very helpful in reuniting us. Even providing me with her personal details. Starman... Also I've met two other genuine girls who were listed on anastasia even though I met them through other means. All three were fluent english speakers. The fact is that genuine girls actually LIKE anastasia for exactly the reason that we generally don't - the fact that its pay-per-letter. For a genuine girl this means that she doesn't get pestered by men wasting her time because writing to them is free. The women do not "register" with anastasia, they sign up at thier local ageny. The agency decides to post its girls on the anastasia site. If you know what to watch for you weed out the obvious scammers. I contacted them via e-mail, some phone calls, sent and received personal pictures, not the Glamour shots they have posted, real everyday pics. I notified the women I wanted to meet, by giving them my local cell# in Ukraine and the dates I would be in town. Other way is to give girl/s your ukrainian number, which goes through okay and they or their interpreter(usually) will call you when you arrive to set up a meeting.I don't mess with the agency directly....only through the interpreter which is used first time or maybe second meeting. I've tried posting letters giving my direct contact details but never had one get through - I think letters from a western country often get stolen at the local post office.
