Hello everyone.
The last time I started a discussion, on this forum, I asked "Are there any success stories??? Or are all the FSU dating agency websites full of scammers?"
Well now I'm engaged to a wonderful Crimean lady and we're trying to navigate our way through the beaurocratic minefield of Visa Applications.
We know we must apply to the British Embassy's Consular division through their (one and only) Ukrainian Visor Application Center (VAC) and commercial partners, V.F.S.Global in Kyiv....
We know the price of the visors, the price of the VAC fee, the difference between Leave to Enter (LTE), Leave to Remain (LTR) and Indefininte Leave to Remain (ILR)....
But WE DO NOT KNOW....???
Should we employ a lawyer to help with the forms or should we just answer the questions as best and honestly as we can, submit the paperwork, pay the fee and hope for the best???
Any advice or suggestions from people who have been through this process would be greatly appreciated!!!
There's a glass of champagne and a slice of wedding cake on offer here for anyone who can help us to start all this red-taped nightmare!!!
Looks like the sympathy vote is out on this one also. Who gives a shit about your present conquests when u utterly disrespect your previous prospective conquests.
Past performance is an indicator of future development... Well I think you must
write the whole lot yourself... you managed Nos 1&2... so go forth and multiply...
MADE YOUR BED, SO IT'S ALL YOURS
Good luck next time round on your visit to the ladyboys in Thailand
I have many friends there, maybe I will introduce you to some of them,
next time round.
What did u say your name was?

I am in a similar position to you and their help has been invaluable.

Hi , I'm an Englishman and I married my Ukraine lady last year here in kharkov, Ukraine.
I have done the Ukraine Visa trip to Ukraine Poland Embassy for me.
I have also done all paperwork at British Embassy for me to Marry here and together with her we did all her papers here.
We live in Ukraine. We are visiting England this year with her daughters and we have arranged all of their Visas for them to go to England through VFS Global in Kiev.
So if you want any of our advise let me know. SirDaniel has done the same I think and I'm sure he will help as well. There is lots of free advise that can help on the following sites; kharkovinfo.com - http://ukinukraine.fco.gov.uk/en/ - http://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/ - http://www.tryukraine.com/info/visas.shtml - www.kharkovinfo.com - http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/infs/inf18eeaswissnationals#Q10 - http://www.easyukraine.com/ - http://boards.independenttraveler.com/showthread.php?p=66719
Remember , any paperwork here takes along time and be prepared to pay cash bribe toget things done quicker. We own and rent apartments here in Kharkov and the paperwork can be complicated, there are lots of us Brits here that have done this, so I'm sure you'll be ok. if we can help, either me or my Ukraine wife , just ask.
