The interpreter is a 'hired hand', you are employing her and, as we say in UK, "she's taking the piss". The girl dont talk so much English, but we having a good connection, and she is relay interested in me, the big cost is to have the translator hanging around all the time 15 hour plus food,drinks, and what ever ting i do with the girl. I wont to meet this girl again, but am not sure if she is milking my pocket or she wonts to find out if we are good match. I have a feeling am scammed, the translator and the girl are very good friends, and talk a lot more than the translator is translating to me. If i go to meet this girl again, i will not use any translator, i will tray to communicate by my self. I got friendly with the interpreter and she gave me her skype and we talked, her friend who she was interpreting for was my girl who i was dating and had been for over a year. When it finaly came out that the girl was a scam and was screwing me for money, the interpreter decided to tell me everything, my so say girl had a man in ukraine that she was living with for the whole time i was dating her, she said she did not ever love me and was only ever interested in my money. Whats my point ? here is her interpreter having an attack of concience and telling me this to spare me from further heartbreak yet it was her friend who she was writing to me for and chatting online for and sending sms messages for over a year, and suddenly she is helping me but only after being part of the scam for over a year. No chance, any agency interpreter is in it for the money they do it without any care for their victim and as for the women they are helping they are nothing but evil scum, the only bonus i have was knowing i was screwing this guys girlfriend while he was sat at home looking after her kids. That makes her a whore and him a sad pimp of a man. I would say get a professional interpreter and bypass agency muppets. She told me that many women were quite frank with her, in the presence of the foreign man, about their mercenary motives -- in Russian, of course. I made a recent comment regarding ladyboys, DD jumped down my throat for it calling me ‘sick’. Well on this island these people live in, often, one room wooden homes, they have no sewerage or running water, they collect their water from a communal tap in the dirt street. The island’s economy, in the main, relies upon fishing, these people will go out in their boats 365 days a year just to survive, for approx 50% of our meals there my girlfriend and I opted to eat seafood to support such a meagre economy. Indeed on the 3rd day there I decided to buy all the Filipina resort workers some chocolate just for being so nice and running around for us, buying my cigarettes and a significant amount of chocolate at the local kiosk shop, I had been chatting there with some of the locals, the Filipina shop owner asked where I was staying, telling her she said “It is expensive there, you are a rich man”, as quick as anything I replied “I was rich until I came to your bloody shop”, her and the locals just fell about laughing. Indeed checking-out of the Butuan City hotel this morning, I was sitting in reception waiting for my taxi when a 5 (ish) y/o girl came to hold my hand, her mother and everybody else were laughing loudly, then she blew me a kiss, I blew her kiss in return, then she put her arms around me and kissed me on the cheek, even the reception staff, trying to do their work, were laughing loudly. These people lead such meagre existences, sure I can act the comedian if it brings just a little laughter to their otherwise ordinary days. Indeed, the taxi recently dropped me off at this Manila hotel, the driver didn’t know where the hotel was so we had quite a banter in the car whilst I helped him with directions. As we pulled up outside the hotel I confirmed with him that the meter read PHP246 (approx USD5), he joked that that was without the tip, I joked back “OK, that’ll be PHP247 then”, he just laughed as I gave him PHP300!
