Keep in mind that I'm not switching over to Anastasia. I am working on booking a tour they do. These tours are actually referred to them by Fiance.com as well.
Just wanted a second opinion on available tour options.
I knew it!!! I knew I couldnt have possibly been getting so many emails from those ladies, I went and checked my account again, it went from 342 to 401 that is just since yesterday. and every single one of them are supermodle quality. I have already spent like 250 dollars, and was really gonna not send mails with them anymore anyways, so thanks for the info. =)
Hello! I came across this message here by accident and decided to post my reply. I am working for Anastasia Intl.
I would like to share information we have with everyone on this forum. Lana (ID number on www.anastasiaweb.com is 60524) is from Kiev. She attends the local agency called Fortuna-Kiev.
Steve, in order to prove you that before activating any lady on our website we contact them by phone and check their availability and the information our partners have added to the database. Before putting any profile on the website our partners (local agencies) check ladies passports. I have contacted this local agency (Fortuna- Kiev) and requested a copy of Lana’s passport. So, I am sending you the copy of her passport to your e-mail. You can see that the information that we have about her age and marital status is correct. If anyone else who reads this message wants to see the copy of the lady’s passport, please let me know and I will e-mail it to you.
To clarify the situation we asked our partner in Kiev to tell Lana about your message and ask her to post a reply right here. What she told us is that she has a pro forma marriage with Steve and you, Steve, according to what she says, are aware of this fact. She told us that you mutually decided to be friends. More so, you are supposed to know that she attends marriage agency in Kiev. But let her explain everything herself.
Why Lana did all these things – we don’t know. We can not see the people’s inner world. We do guarantee only that the lady is not married and her personal information is correct and that she is seriously looking for a foreign man to get acquainted and possibly married. The only way to make sure that the lady is not married is to check her passport and that is what we did.
Keep in mind that there is a difference between the TOURS through Anastasia (RussianBrides.com) and their database web page (AnastasiaWeb).
I took my tour through European Connections. They similarly have a webpage database of contacts called RussianLadies.com. I NEVER USED RussianLadies.com for anything having to do with my tour. It is a seperate and distinct function of the company. It is my understanding that they drew from their database of RussianLadies.com to invite them to the Socials. But even that was not the case always. Many ladies at the Socials were not affiliated with RussianLadies.com and many affiliated ldies never attended a Social.
To Scott - I have no persoanl experience with the Ananstasia through their RussianBrides.com tour agency. But I CAN TELL YOU that severalof the ladies I met through European connections - in Odessa Ukraine - spoke very highly of Ananstasia and the Socials that they provide.
Regardless of AnanstasiaWeb's reputation - I would not hesitate for a moment going on tour with them through RussianBrides- especially f it was my first time to the FSU.
Story of Steve and Lana is too funny. Big mouth on the guy until someone spoke up and filled us in on the details. Now I am guessing he is somewhere squirming. Pro forma marriage, totlally in love, and agreed to be just friends. Hilarious.
Scott - I had the time of my life on my European Connections "Romance Tour" to Odessa. I was skeptical - at first - but I did. I may very well repeat - or at least arrange to be in the same place that the Socials are being had - by any of European Connections, Anastasia, or A Foreign Affair. (Becasue I now know my way around traveling to the FSU a little - but I can't duplicate the Socials on my own).
I sincerely think that you will be happy with your decision to go Scott. I doubt you will have ANY regrets.
Hello, my name is Lilia. I’m the manager of marriage agency “Fortune” which is located in Kiev and affiliated with Anastasia. When message from Steve appeared on this forum Olga from Anastasia got in contact with me and asked for a copy of this lady’s passport. I do repeat for everybody that before a registration of a new lady-client and putting her profile on the Anastasia website we check lady’s passport and take a copy if it. So, I sent a copy of Lana’s passport to Anastasia. After they’ve received it and checked all data, which were the same, they called me and asked to call Lana and find out if she knows Steve. Lana agreed that she knew him but according to her words it was a pro forma marriage and he knew she attended a marriage agency and was not against this. But she doesn’t want to show her private life on the whole world and that’s why, she doesn’t want to reply Steve on this forum - that is the reason why I’m writing this. Concerning everything, what was said above we can come to a conclusion: we do exactly what we promise to our clients- we check ladies information before putting their profiles on the web, we meet these ladies personally to make sure they look as on their professional photos, we translate & deliver the letters. In order to stop all this I will ask Anastasia to delete Lana ID 60524 from their site. After all I think it’s wrong to call Anastasia a SCAM. Steve, I think after receiving a copy of Lana’s passport, which Anastasia is supposed to send you by email, you’ll change your mind about the whole Anastasia system.
am providing this information in Defense of Anastasia Web . This information should be published in the interest of fairness as you publish many negative remarks/concerns regarding Anastasia Web. The woman is absolutely a SCAMMER but Anastasia Web, when notified and presented with the facts...Immediately and permanently, removed this woman from their site.
Special thanks to OLGA at Anastasia.

Hello,
Here is some information on a woman who has been busted on several sites but keeps appearing. She is married but has at least 2 passports with different names and ages. On her true passport, she is Iolanta Borisenko of Kiev Ukraine, born 3 June 1962. On another passport she is known as LANA with a similar last name, also from Kiev but born 3 June 1965. She is married to a US citizen but claims the marriage is pro forma when confronted recently by Anastasia web.
She was married in the United States on 31 December 2002.
Her e-mail addresses are many.
She is a beautiful and shapely blonde always wearing sexy clothes. Height ranging from 157 cm to 165 cm and weight from 44 kg to 54 kg, blue eyes, actress or working as a journalist or in theater. She has a daughter now 9 years old but on some sites her daughter is younger. on some sites she declares not only she is an actress but her parents are actors also.
ANASTASIA WEB was her most recent victim as she presented a false passport on which her name is LANA, from Kiev, born 3 June 1965...39 years...she is actually 42 years and VERY MARRIED. When information was presented to Anastasia Web, OLGA researched this and subsequently deleted Iolanta, Ilona, Lana, Ivanna...permanently...so I am told.
If this is true and they will not re-present her....GOOD FOR ANASTASIA WEB!
There are many negative comments about Anastasia Web on the Internet calling them intentional scammers.....I am now convinced that they may be often deceived and are not aware of the scam until they are presented with the evidence. AT LEAST THEY TOOK IMMEDIATE ACTION and that speaks highly of Anastasia Web.

You have only one side of the story. Let me tell you the rest of the story. Our marriage is hardly "Pro Forma" as you state or as you claim my wife told you. My wife and I have been married since 31 December 2002. My wife only left me here in the US on 14 April 2004. I left my previous job and began a new business and I am working 80 hours each week or more. The money is coming but not as fast as I would like it or ...obviously not as fast as my wife would like it to come. She had to return to Kiev as her daughter is there...OUR Daughter, mine by marriage. Ilona (Lana) has been married 3 times and the father of her daughter she was never married to. He life has been a wreck. She has multiple passports...I have a copy of her only valid passport. ( I did not know she had multiple passports before this whole fiasco). In her passport she showed you...or whomever she showed. she claimed to be divorced and 39 years old. In fact she is married and 42 years old. She is scared that I will not be able to support her as I did before as for men and women in Ukraine, when they lose a good job, they may never receive another or at least it may take many months or years to find another. She truly does not understand the difference with the United State. Just after my wife left to return for OUR daughters birthday, I gave her $2500. I have been sending her money each month...at least $1000 and she has a job which pays her between $600 and $1200 each month. She has no rent payment as her apartment is completely paid off. Her only MANDATORY bills are heat $25 per month and cable TV $25 per month and of course food. I have paid all medical when it has been necessary and my wife has been a very good wife to date. I love her very much and I know she loves me. She told me when I discovered what she was doing...she said that she would wait one year for me to bring her back to America but if I could not then she would have to make other plans. Truthfully, I can understand her fear, but, certainly I cannot support her actions. I will have her back here soon. It may take years for her to appreciate the differences betrween the economies of the Ukraine and the United States but when she does she will feel very bad about her actions. I have a Master's Degree and I only began my business less than 1 year ago. I recently, last month, took a job with a fortune 500 company with all of the benefits while still working my business. I can only warn men.....the fears that some women still experience in former Soviet republics are very real to them and haunt then all of the time. I never anticipated losing my job when we married and finding another JOB was not my first choice...I wanted my own business. My business is taking off now but as it is not fast enough, I have taken on additional responsibility of a fulltime position with a company. Nobody ever said it would be easy being married to a woman from a former Soviet country...but, my love for her is GREAT and lasting and forgiving and WE WILL GET BEYOND THIS.
My wife Ilona ...aka Lana, writes to me every day and professes her love. She recently told me " if you can fly me to America soon I will give you kisses every 5 minutes...I love nobody but you my lovely Steve". I do have a keeper and I will keep her!
Why would a woman that loves you so much, put her profile on Anastasia's list of women seeking husbands? Is it for financial stability? Doesn't sound like much love on her part! Actions speak louder than words.
I did not read your reply prior to placing my own. Therefore I wish to ask you a question NOW. I do not know how marriage is in Russia or the Ukraine...But I know in America....there is no such thing as a Pro Forma marriage. Ask any poor sucker who has been taken to a divorce court and lost everything he has worked for for many years. Secondly...unless I am mistaken...you defend my wife's words as though they are sacred. May I ask you a question? As Anastasia is an AMERICAN company and AMERICAN MEN would be writing to MY WIFE and proposing a relationship and possible marriage....don't you think that the United State Embassy and the US Department of Immigration may have a problem with granting a Fiance Visa...K1 visa to a woman who has already had one and is currently married and recently visited her husband and is not divorced and currently holds an advanced parole document for additional visits to America. Secondly...we did not agree to be FRIENDS as you claim. Truthfully, my wife did not desire to answer in a public forum because she knows she has more that one passport...GOD only knows how many and what these various passports claim...by the way...it appears a false passport with false information can be purchased by any woman in at least the Ukraine and probably in Russia hence the validity of information provided by all women advertising on Anastasia or any other agency of this type my now be considered suspect and should be assumed false until verified with ones own eyes.
Third, OLGA ...you did not offer to contact all of the American men and other men who wrote my wife letters to advise them they are writing to a Married woman with multiple passports and one who cannot possibly enter the United States as she is married and cannot obtain a fiance visa for the purposes of marriage as our sofisticated computer system and BOTH the Embassies of Kiev and Warsaw ...where my wife and I visited in March 2004 and applied for a visa for OUR (Her) daughter, would quickly pick up on this and call everything into question.
OLGA, I ask you now in a public forum as you posted your remarks in a public forum prior to checking this whole thing out thoroughly......will Asastasia now contact each and every man who wrote to my wife advising then of this situation and then returning their hard earned money to them????
My guess is a resounding NO!!
If in fact you will do this....then I would ask that you have each man...and I an sure there are many as my wife is quite beautiful, post a letter on this public forum stating they now understand my wife ...IOLANTA...aka LANA, IVANNA, ILONA..etc.etc.etc. is married, has more that one passport, lies about her age, marital status and GOD knows what else she has lied about in her personal letters to these men.
There you have it OLGA. Oh, by the way...you told me in your letter to me that my wife admitted having 2 or more passports to your agency and admitted her age is 42 years and you n required no further proof after I sent to you letters ...e-mail letters from LANA...my wife, with photos of her taken only a week ago and for me upon receiving flowers...where my wife
