Guys, in your experiences, have you found that most ladies (in the 35-45 y/o age category) are willing to relocate to the west?
Yes, but only if you are the real deal.
I'd assume (naively?) that most ladies would willingly relocate to this part of the world, if given the opportunity.
The websites make you believe they are just itching to get out. It is very false. Most have a carved a nice life for themselves but find they are lacking in that essential element, a ncie husband who is the real deal and in it for keeps. For the right man, they will relocate but most would rather not if they could stay (until they move and live with you and find out that you are the real deal and that you are willing to put forth the energies to make your new life together work, especially in helping her find a job and things to do.)
Which leads me to the question: how bad is their economic situation?
For most, they work very hard and live a decent life. For most, they are survivors and are not starving.
As an example if the lady is from an outlying Siberian village it might be norm that the economy dictates she knits her own clothes etc, by comparison check out the pics in ladies profiles, are they caked in cosmetics and fashionable clothing, if so then life is pretty good but many will have a man, or men, finacially supporting such a lifestyle.
Which only serves to clarify part of the point I was making, if they have no money then how can they afford to dress so well? No money equals no spending, 2+2 equals someone else, logically a man, buys the dressings for them!
Yes. I was wondering about that myself Danny40. Most of the ladies I've checked out are very presentable and tastefully adorned. It may be more a reflection of a ladies' personal style than an indication of her financial situation. Personally, I gravitate more to the ones whose beauty shines through in a more subtle fashion anyway. I might be prejudging a bit, but I think women who plaster on the make-up are just trying too hard. As the old adage goes, often 'less is more'.
2+2 equals someone else, logically a man, buys the dressings for them!
Obviously you do not know many women who live there. I know many single women, who are listed or have been listed (usually on EM) and they have nice clothes and cosmetics and there is no man in their life (hence them being on EM). They don't post vampish or overly sexy photos but very nice ones, some professional taken, and again, there is no man supporting them.
To suggest otherwise is a disservice to those who are seriously looking and being serious (both the men and the women).
(many will have a man, or men, finacially supporting such a lifestyle.)
Please read my original post, I was not generalizing that 'all' of them, that dress good, are supported by a man, you and me both know many women that dress nicely, I know many that sponge off men for such dressings, my original point was that life is pretty good for those that dress nicely with western brand cosmetics etc. and the point I was making to Canuck was that a lady who cannot afford to dress accordingly might be the better option and if you consider that advice to be a disservice then we'll have to agree to differ.
And as for the subsequent posting that those with no money dress good, well in the logic of economics, that doesn't change from country to country, would anyone care to explain how they can afford to buy such dressings if they, quote, don't have any money?
The best looking girl I've dated there yet had an amazing figure, accentuated by skin-tight Giorgio Armani jeans. When I first saw her in them, I wondered where she got the money from.
Second date, she wore the same jeans. And the third, and the fourth. They always looked new, no matter how many times she wore them. When I thought about it, it seemed her entire wardrobe hadn't changed much during our week together.
I've lived with a few people over there now, and some things remain consistent. Before leaving their apartment, they always give their shoes a quick shine. When returning home, they take their shoes off before getting past the door. "Making the most of it" seems to be a way of life that we've forgotten over here.
Taste doesn't change much with money (we've all seen people in hollywood with more of the latter than the former). Dressing stylishly signifies nothing but a sense of style. Posing in photos like a hooker trawling for business, on the other hand...
'dated' is an expression indicating a relationship of an ongoing nature that occurred in the past. it means you spent a considerable amount of time with a person.
frugality is the word that comes to mind. who cares if brand name jeans are fake. I worked in the garment industry. You'd be surprised at what goes on.
as for make up, clothes or whatever, the only way to know is to spend some time with someone. as Muzzy shares, she wore the same clothes... it was discussed many times already. they have some nice clothes and like to look good -- what's wrong with that? yet, the live in crappy apartments or with their mothers...
My wife was pissed that I insisted she had more than a few outfits to wear -- "It is not necessary to have such many clothes." ... figure it out
that a lady who cannot afford to dress accordingly might be the better option
explain how they can afford to buy such dressings
I'll agree to disagree (but don't want to argue). I say that they are just more frugal with their money, hard earned as it really is.
I would way that the better "catch" would be one of these frugal women, who can work their tail off, save their money, buy that one or two or bunch of nice clothes and and know how to mix and match them to max effect. They are the better catch but yes be warned because they bring all those traits to the relationship and you as the man will be expected to do your fair share if not more than they would.
And, many can wear even the not so nice clothes and still make them look really good.
However........one should not be looking at the pictures but learn about the person. That is also what the real women will want to learn about you. Not what you wear (to a point) but who you are.
Is it fair to say that most of these ladies are trying to make their best, most attractive impression on their profiles? If so, then it stands to reason that they're going to wear the nicest clothes they can find, even if they wouldn't normally wear the designer name-brand apparel. Just throwing this idea out there, I'm sure some will disagree.
I have seen many pictures in different profiles with exactly the same clothes (especially dresses), meaning that they borrow the clothes from the studio that takes the photos or from common friends who decide to take photos at the same time.
And I have rented a "Tux" to stand up for a friend in his wedding. Once again, we all know the presumption of the difficult economic conditions in much of the FSU. It is not necessary to find a conspiracy in a lady trying to look her best. Have some of you been conditioned into this mentality by the western women who cannot be complemented on their physical charm without feighning being offended.
On the subject of appearance, I think it's safe to assume that most of the profile pictures have been skillfully airbrushed. I've watched a few of the ladies' videos, and in some cases I have to doublecheck her pics to confirm that it's the same person. Of course some of the video quality and lighting is very poor.
