I am a British citizen dating a Zambian, we have been in this long distance dating since October 2009 when we fist chat on the internet, I visited her in November for only a week, as that was the only time I could manage, and she came over to visit me in February in the UK for a month, I just came back from Zambia again, my second time I was there for 15 days, so in all we have visited each other on 3 occasions, we chat on gtalk, hotmail and I phone her mostly, if we are to show our messenger chatting, how do we do it since they can be bulky print outs? we have been discussing that she should come to the UK so that we are together, I want her to come on a fiancé visa, we have no idea how to go about it, I know I must be able to prove to the Home office that I will be able to support her, and also she has a daughter, so I must be able to prove I will be able to support her and her daughter.
I have enough room in my house accommodation is not a problem, what else do we need to show to the Home office so they know it is not a fake relation that we have so that her and her daughter are able to come to the Uk. How much money is expected of me to have in my account or rather what are the needs towards finances, well any advice concerning the fiancé visa and any information will be greatly appreciated.
First things first, for UK there is no such visa as a 'fiance visa', you need to understand what you are applying for as a first step.
As a first step you should Google for your lady's local British embassy/consulate website, on that website go to the 'consular' area, learn what visa you need to apply for and that website shall give directions as how to proceed with such an application.
