Hi all,
My girlfriend and I have decided to get married.
She is Ukrainian and works in a very well paid job. She is working on a project which will last another 12 months in Ukraine.
We were hoping to get married in the next few months in United Kingdom and I would then continue to travel to her each month for the next 10 months.
With regards to visas it seems we have 2 options:
1. Settlement visa (for fiance) which would allow her to stay in country for 6 months for marriage BUT then we must live together.
OR
2. Visitor Visa (for marriage) in which case we marry, she returns and then we have to carry out process of her applying for settlement as a wife.
OR
We leave the marriage 10months and apply for option 1 then.
Have I got all these facts correct? Is option 1 a 'no' for us because she plans to return to Ukraine for 10 months?
Is there such a UK thing as a visitor visa for marriage?
They clamped down on things a number of years back, they obviously got fed up with illegal marriages, and not even Gretna Green can perform a marriage unless one has the appropriate visa.
If she's coming to live in UK, with you, then a settlement visa is the one, then you have 6 months to marry or give good reason why not, as for marriage and then going home again ..... I don't know but Google for the British embassy in Kiev and go to the 'visiting the UK' page.
But why the rush to get married if she is remaining in Ukraine for another year, what difference does a piece of paper or rings on fingers make to your relationship, why not wait until she has completed her project in Ukraine?
Yeah, but none from Russia traveled to meet you and what the hell does your assinine stat sheet have to do with a Visa application for the UK? Besides you just being the utter moron that you always are. Isn't it time for you to put something on you tube like your blow job lover boy.
