Whatever is going on with this girl is some kind of nasty clusterf*ck. Unless you have known her and her family very well, for years -- it is likely that what you are hearing is part of some web of intrigue and lies or half-truths. In my opinion, Ukraine is a country with low incomes and many kinds of distress, and a recent (20th century) history of trauma that goes beyond human understanding. In the Ukrainians I have gotten to know, I have seen psychological patterns that perhaps are a reflection of these stresses. It is tempting to "put on one's cape" and come to the rescue of a damsel in distress, but in a place with so many difficulties, you could easily spend the rest of your life and all of your fortune trying to be the hero. At the least, ask yourself, "what is my mission -- for what purpose, did I begin making these contacts in the first place?" Myself if someone threatened my girl, regardless reason goes out the window and the monster takes over, its the way i am. I am capable of all in that Video but its meant for defence not offence. Howether any man that thinks he can threaten a woman is not a man and any man that lays hands on a woman is a coward and deserves to be treated like a coward. They want the drama of a white knight. Men see this as silly and childish. What many men do not realize, they too have this affliction. They look for a damsel in distress. If you choose this path, you will have only a distressed woman for the rest of your life. This woman may just be shrewed enough to seek such a foolish. Regardless of which it is, if you follow this path and something serious happens, you have already laid down evidence that will lead to you and will show deliberate thought and actions. You may find yourself in prison for a very long time. An associate at work has a daughter in Kiev working with the Peace Corps. She was molested by a man living in her apartment building on the floor below. That man was taken by the police and hasn't been seen from since. She has not been required to testify in court, he is just gone. Tell this woman to call the police. I have seen five arrests in Ukraine. All for being a public nuissance, every arrest was coupled with a kick in the ass or being dragged along the street. I doubt a good woman would be harassed for long.
