So I am looking overseas (Ukraine). I have been Googling around for a month trying to decide if this was really something I wanted to invest my time and future into, and after deciding that I want to get serious about it, I stumbled upon this forum which from what I have found, is most reputable for pointing out scam sites, etc. As a commercial pilot, travel is common for me, so the trips over are not an issue. So far I understand that Any site affiliated with Anastasiadate.com is a scam.. Correct assumption? With that, is there a place on this forum that has a list of "approved" sites? I appreciate the time and help everyone! Anastasia is a scam, perhaps one in a hundred Anastasia affiliate site(s) may be genuine but best to err on the side of caution! It was not a preference or a lead, simply a "Well where would I go?" type decision. I have no issues dishing money out to go visit other countries, as I have before. I am an international commercial pilot after all. I DO have problems with women who are gold diggers (I guess that is also a catch 22 in this search) and websites that cost more than my water bill for 3 minutes of use. It is fairly easy to pick out them considering their age preference goes up to thrice their own age. Though I do understand the culture, one can only think... In my personal opinion, it seems to me that the more expensive sites bring in better looking girls, meaning that they are informed of the prices being spent, therefor only rich men can even afford to look. Those are just my thoughts. So another question is, am I too young and a completely unsuitable person for Russian women? So 2 votes for Elenas. But, she asked for photos, with a message, which means I would have to spend extra $$ instead of just adding or changing photos in my profile for free... All part of the scam? You can use my.mail.ru or mamba.ru for free, but over there you will have to deal with many who do not want to leave their countries. Chose carefully and be upfront (I met my wife in my.mail.ru and I am extremely happy. I found a real diamond). And one more thing: NEVER USE PAY-PER-LETTER SITES! They are all rip-offs. You paid it. Is this a rip off? You can't beat free, as FSULover says. But, you can use a pay per letter site wisely. Ask for her phone number on the very first letter. Usually, they give it to you on the next letter. You get her phone number and call her to get her email, etc. You don't pay per letter anymore. You paid for two letters, about $15. Is it still a rip off? Yes, I agree. Choose wisely, like profiles with the word "honest" in it, and cities without a bad reputation. It turned out that white lies from the woman I previously dated should have been noticed, because she also told big lies. Some honest ladies will put honest in their profile, some not. Some scammers will put honest in their profiles, some not. There are not very women who have "honest" in their profiles. White lies are common, but someone who describes herself as honest will go out of her way to avoid white lies. Probably safer to stick with Ukraine for your first adventures, but if want to find an extremely beautiful and serious lady, then should start heading for remote Russian cities or Central Asia, eventually. It was either Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan. When I was searching for a date before one of my trips, I saw a profile from one of the ladies from one of these countries. One sentence said, "I hate traitors." I looked for her profile the next day. She was gone. In fact, Im meeting with a large fast food chain about opening restaurants in Caravan malls as test marketing this week went great! It will give me reason to spend more time here and get paid!!! Elena's models is the best, hands down! Ive met many girls from there but still you cant discount that there are good local agencies out there, some not even on internet. In Kherson I can think of 5 not on the internet but use the bigger agencies to get clients. I just dont have the need but good girls there! there are perils to be sure but if you educate yourself on customs, the cities and so on you will be fine. lots of great girls here. I have apartment on left side of Kiev and I love just living here. If you are dedicated to your search for your second half here and learn at least Russian language then you will have success. Its a numbers game just like America only the possibilities are much better looking!
