A couple of women have written to me that they are really averse to American men ... most likely, from having met a few. So I can say that the "low fliers" give us a very poor reputation. On the other side, I think it can help me: women who've met such guys, may be pleasantly surprised when they meet me. I think I already wrote this story here, I don't remember :\ ... in October, I lunched at a cafe in Kyiv where western men often meet up with their Ukrainian dates. At a table just 3 or 4 meters away sat a man who had "American" written all over him, disconsolately munching on french fries (chips to the Limeys on the forum) while a less-than-half-his-age Ukrainian girl beside him slouched so low in her seat, that she was almost horizontal, absorbed with her smart phone (or maybe it was one of those pocket game consoles). I remember thinking, "this guy looks so pathetic," and also, "how many look at me, and think the same thing?"
