I'm not even sure who started that thread or what the thread is about. but it is a thread nonetheless. the thread on the other thing, not my thread. sorry if i said something on your thread that had nothing to do with this thread, I mean the other thread - I am confused now. who started that thread anyway? was it your thread or his thread. I think I mentioned in my other thread about your thread being the same thread as my thread. I mean on my other thread not the same other thread that I started, the one that was about the other thread that I mentioned my thread. or the thread about the same subject as my thread. not the thread I'm talking about but the thread about the other thread. I'm sure of one thing, I STARTED THIS THREAD. so when you refer to it you can say it is my thread. well not 'my' thread but 'his' thread, meaning me. and it is okay with me if you do not exactly stay on the subject of this thread as long as I get credit for starting it. well, you don't really have to give me credit for it but I know everyone can see my name in the column to the right indicating it is my thread. and you can use my name when referring to my thread. I don't mind. actually it gives me a sense of self appreciation if you actually do mention that this thread is my thread. but you don't really have to. I know you know - REMEMBER MY NAME IS IN THE COLUMN TO THE RIGHT ;). It's like a big sign saying, "THIS IS MY THREAD". I can't wait to tell my gf that I started a new thread. I'm sure she will be proud. especially when I explain to her that I straightened everyone out about the ownership of threads. they like real men who take charge. Take the Mickey (or variations) are euphemistic ways of conveying this expression where the word "piss" may be vulgar. This is most widely used in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia. The term sometimes refers to a form of mockery in which the mocker exaggerates the other person's characteristics; pretending to take on his or her attitudes, etc., in order to make them look funny. yes, I was taking the piss. And if you don't know what it was about then... I know it is insensitive and the person has no command over his seemingly senseless and irrelevant comments and advice. But if this person wants to continue the charade of being the innocent participant then I will continue to 'take the piss'. I figured most would get the joke and this would have been nothing more than an ephemeral posting. Most of the time I just smile to myself at some of the outrageous and contradictory statements made by someone. Sometimes I just have to respond. As an example the (bankrupt) UK goverment recently announced contraversial (OTT) cuts in the UK military .... next thing there are 8 billion pounds worth of Nimrod MRA4 aircraft, the aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal and indeed a squadron or few of Harrier aicraft up for auction on eBay. The Nimrod MR2 became grounded on safety issues. This forum would be pretty dull without them. That’s my point…what’s yours? I’ve always found that people who rant at others are driven by insecurity, heartbreak, inexperience etc. People accuse and criticize in others the same traits as they themselves have. Yet your descriptions of life with your woman, the experiences you are sharing and how everything is great is heady stuff…inspirational to others who are searching for the same. I first sent one in the summer of 2007. She was my first regular FSU correspondent. I was curious about her family, friends and surroundings. I fell for my first visit, but it didn't work out in November of 2007, so I decided to go back to Ukraine ASAP. I communicated with another lady and I sent her a present for Christmas in 2007. The third camera was advertised as a 10mp from China that I got from Walmart for $25 which I sent to my gf. Since it was a 10mp, I thought it would work just fine, but it didn't. So, I sent her the fourth one. I get pictures from that camera regularly so I have no regrets. You disagree with my methods, but I still see nothing questionable, outrageous or contradictions. I can give you a hammer. You can drive a nail down a piece of wood with it or you can hit someone over the head with it. It would not be my fault for giving you a hammer. What I do is what is in my conscience. It is my life and my relationship.
