Hello Men, And any ladies reading along, of course. Just signed up for a membership, and trying to get my bearings. I have my own impressions as a "new guy" and I'd appreciate hearing from the old hands whether I've got it right. Basically I have two impressions so far. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is, and, looks like some of the women may get a cut of the buck a minute for video chat? If I'm mistaken, and the smokin' hot women who are asking me to chat with them after a mail or two are just trying to figure out if I'm real, of course, I'd like to know. It's not like buck a minute is a lot of money, it's just that I'm not looking for masturbation material, so cam girls aren't of interest to me at any price. Greetings Bill, Don't even bother with any pay per letter or pay per minute webcams, any genuine lady will be happy to write good old fashioned letters yet in the electronic form.

God bless you Bill! you are giving me hope :) Female perspective: FSU ladies all have skype and msn, etc. We also have jobs and lives, and it wouldn't make sense for one to be sincere AND be available 24/7 for live agency video chat. unless it IS her job. However I believe many ladies go to agencies to sign up for this site and video chat availability might be just an option they are offered to include in their profile (remember women get theirs free). So don't rule anyone out just yet :)

Hello Bill Most of the time it is an agency that you will be talking to and not the actual lady. they will call her and get her response to your letter but will control what information can be sent. that is not to say an agency is not helpful but once you meet a lady in person you start from the beginning again. letter writing is a way to make a few contacts before you plan a trip. it is common for an agency to charge you to meet the lady when you arrive. they will also try to get you to use there apartment, translator, taxi and excursions. some agency's have a reasonable rate for there services but others will be double what you should pay. you can find a few tips and tricks on easyukraine. there we have a links page with services of company's I have used or have had recommended to me from customers.

Replies much appreciated men. I travel a lot. I'm in China for another month before heading back to the US, so a side-trip to Ukraine wouldn't be any big deal. Just need to get my guy to rustle up a visa for me I guess. Does it mean anything that a woman has been on the site a while, with a high count of letters written to her? One of the girls that I've been writing back and forth with is very pretty, seems sincere, in fact a little eager, but I notice she's been on the site almost 3 years with almost 2000 letters written to her. About the "too good to be true" part. A couple of the women that I seem to have made a connection with are what I'd class "dream girl" types. Seem sincere enough, meaning, I'm not getting form letters from them like from some of the others. One has already offered up a phone number. My assumption going in was that he model types wouldn't be real. Are there some that are, or was my initial assumption correct or close to it?

If you can not move your correspondence with a lady private after about teo or rounds of emails then firget about her. And....never ever use any if the agency services; if the woman has access to a computer them she can do Skype on her own.

I have been a member for a couple of years but will end my membership in March. The reason: Agencies seem to be more and more desperate to make money and because of this they will not let members communicate direct via telephone or email. I have had Internet in my house since 1996 and having to write letters forever via an "agency" in the year 2011 just does not fell right. It doesn�t cost a penny for the girls to send letters, and many girls surely work for the agencies so of course they can go on forever writing letters. They dont care if it will lead to a relationship or not.
