Hi all, Well Natalia and i finally got our british fiancee visa after many many months of preparation, it was a long and hard road, but after our application was handed in it took only 15 days for the visa to be issued.
Now Natalia has to leave her apartment in Kiev and travel to the UK, and this is where we have a problem in finding a company to move her apartment contents. Some will go back to her parents house in Severodonetsk city and the rest here to the UK. Most will be smallish personal items but many many clothes! (ukrainian women must have giant wardrobes for all this stuff!!:o))... anyway she `has` to bring all to the UK... so can someone suggest any reasonable carriers, preferably in Kiev itself?
There will be vans going back and forwards every 1 week. They supply russian shops in Europe with Russian/Ukrainian food etc as well as general delivery. Cost is about 1.5 pounds per kg. Much cheaper than DHL. Get your girl to find the agents in Kiev.
thanks for suggestions guys... i did an online quote with DHL but unfortunately they were talking in telephone numbers :o( TNT seems to give a slightly better rate.
Ben, any more detail on those vans you mentioned? Or any other carrier that would be going to Severodonetsk city?
