Where you just in saratov or is the cathedral in moscow? Would love to see more videos from your trip. I have friends in saratov and until I can see them again, I have to live vicariously through home videos :)
These are great mate! I really would like to chat with you about your trip. I should correct what I wrote above in that I met my friends from saratov outside of russia in germany. I have not yet been to their home town to visit them yet. Sorry, I wrote that message too late in the night :P I'd really like to hear your opinion about your trip as I am starting to plan for my first trip ever to russia. I'll wait till you get back to chat, I'm guessing your connectivity will be limited. I have so many questions; don't worry I'll keep them short :)
Thanks for the reply. I'm actually based in Washington DC, so the trip would be a bit longer. I am talking right now to one of my friends in saratov about samara.
Sounds like you were set with most aspects of your visit :) I don't know if I'll have such luck as everyone seems to have limited space, and plus I personally don't like to impose. I'm planning on going with a buddy of mine, we'll have to likely just get a hotel or something.
On to your videos; thanks again. I noticed a lot of russian men just STAND around doing NOTHING, oogling women. Did you notice this at all? That struck me as funny and odd at the same time. You do that here in the states and you may end up with the police in your face hahah :)
What did you dislike about moscow? I think you mentioned people were generally not nice?
bit sick i cannot watch these at the moment danny, i use cell-phone broadband for my internet and we get very little data for extreme cost(we are worst in the world for this, phone cost and all) good mate got charged $1800 for going over his plan other day(youtube pig hunting vids), anyone coming here get ready to be robbed by our telecom..
moscow, hell it was the underground i hated there, but it worked good,, i guess its the overall size of the place.
they say those old machines broke legs back in old times where you passed through loosing your credit in the underground if you didnt pay, i think they collect cobwebs now only(very menacing things that shot rods out at legs), just those spinning bars are used now next to them.
actually the first time there i had to ask, how many people get pushed into oncoming trains, so perfect a place for it, they gave me such a strange look:)
yes i would agree about moscow, worst city in the world,, except for the tank museum..
theres just no help for english speakers there, no basic colour codes in underground or what ever, was so glad the girl i was meeting sorted me there.
We are not talking about what happened two years ago. It is what is going to happen if you don't concentrate on your problems rather than creating one for another and perceive yourself as trying to solve it.
How many times did I tell you to quit before it got to this?
