I got there, met them all, went to the social, met a few more, averaged 5 - 7 dates PER DAY. Absolutely was scammed for under $100 a time or two, met more beautiful sincere women in a week than in my whole life, have 5 of them writing me (on icq) 3 times per day counting the days till I return. I have absolutely found my next wife even if I don't know which one she is yet, all are spectacular women. How hard is it? Sure I spent $15,000 total so far but it could not be easier! Going back the end of September if I can stand to be away that long. Now what do people complain about here? Afa? They rock. The Ukraine women? They Rock. I cannot even imagine letter writing for months and then being hopeful the girl is real and that there is chemistry between us. Honestly 25-50% of the guys on these tours are Losers (with a capital "L"). Some have been successful in business or law - but a 5 minute converstion with them will let you know they have never met a decent girl beofe and are desperate to find one now - and that they have no social skills whatsoever. These guys will strike out at Romance Socials too - and they will gladly come here and tell us all about it. But great or decent guys will have an experience they will never forget. I haven't been to a Romance Social since Semptember - and that was a dud for me because I allowed another girl I met previously come and "visit me". I was very specific about what I was there for and told her I wanted to meet someone new - and that she would have to allow me to attend the Socials .... (while she stayed in my room). For obvious reasons that didn't work. I met some terrific girls and even went out with a few after the event. But I couldn't bring them back to my room. It was a trainwreck I should have very well seen coming. (But I still had a blast.) I have been layed up now since then having had surgery. Nothing life threatening - I assure you - but serious enough to keep me from traveling. And about spending $15,000 - if thats what he did.... Its like anything else. If you want to buy a car (in the US) - you can spend $15,000 or $100,000. If you stay in Kiev - you can rent a $35.00 a night apartment - or you can stay at the Hyatt for $600 per night. I'm not rich and have NEVER spent $15,000 or anything approaching that on a trip and I have had wonderful times. But I guess you could. When I went to my social, it was easy to meet 10- 20, or more per day,,, it depended on how eager you were!! For me,, I was damn skeptical, I met 10 during the whole trip, but it was because I found someone I liked on the second day!! Thinking back to it, I wish I hadn’t found anyone at all! Maybe I wouldn’t be here at this moment now! The socials thing, was relatively new in 1998, but even then, they went out of their way to tell us;,, These girls have been picked out of hundreds, all are screened!!! Baloney!! I went out for supper one night at another hotel, and saw several of the girls working there,,,,, No,,,,, not as my waitress!!! Just what type of women are working at these socials??? Everybody here has got to understand, that some women are living off of these socials! Pop open a bottle of champagne and you’ve got a party started!! Does the term; “Bar Rag” mean anything to the rest of you?? Here, it’s a woman who takes the local drunk home!! Whoever is left in the bar at closing time? Well, we should start a new term here;,,, Socials Rag!!!! I would like to attend three socials in a row,, all in the same city,, just to see how many repeaters there are!! No, I wouldn’t want to pay for that! When I first started correspond with women on these sites, I did so in the larger cites, Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Lugansk. Why?? Easier traveling, and more modern!? However, these are also the sites of socials!! Every time a social was in town, the girls’ letters would be late!! And every time, they had a half- baked excuse for it!! They would all deny it in their letters, but in person, most admitted to it! They would also complain about the men who attended them;,, nothing but a bunch of a$$ grabbers, only wanting to party!! However, that’s why half went!!! I suppose every man has to choose for himself, but for myself, I wouldn’t want a girl who has been going to socials in the past, present, and future!!! Easy cum, easy blow!!! When I sat down by the computer tonight, I didn’t know I would be writing what I just wrote,, it is only out of respect for jetmba that I did so. I’ve agreed with most of what he had written in the past. My letter was going to start like so,,,,, This “giss” whoever, whatever, wherever, is giving us a load of crap!! My first thoughts were, that he had sold everything he owned, and bought part of the company (AFA)??? Because wow,,, what a sales pitch!! But I haven’t believed a word of it!! As he added more and more posts or threads, I started to notice a familiar style;,,, “Eastern European Scammer Speak”!!!! Has anyone noticed how he,, or she, started several posts with; “ Ok I just got back” and not; “Ok, I just got back” It’s not just the punctuation, it’s the “Ok”,,,, it’s to make it look sudden or spur of the moment, when in fact, it’s a pre-fabricated pre-packaged advertising campaign!! Has he responded to anyone’s’ comments?? He should have responded to me by now,,, but hasn’t!!! lol Haven’t we all received letters from scammers, that are so vague, that it could be sent to anyone??? My next thoughts were, that he is trying to bring men into AFA,,, but then I started thinking,,, after everything he has said,,,,, I would NEVER go!!! “Sure, I have spent 15,000 so far” SO FAR??!! Is there more to come??? This reeks of scare tactics to me!! It’s more likely, that he is working for a company like Aweb or even this site?!! Maybe too many of us are going on AFA tours?? I know one thing for sure,,, I won’t!! Has anyone here, been thinking about going after what you have read over the past few days??? I guess I would like to hear everyone’s comments?! Be nice! Rag'n'Bull Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 6/9/2011 4:34:54 AM   jetmba, 5-7 dates per day, what's that ... an hour, 2 hours maximum, per lady, one can't eat 5 to 7 meals per day, go to 5 to 7 tourist attractions per day, go drinking alcohol 5 to 7 times per day, an hour or two in the company of another .... that's a date? If so then I date the ladies at the supermarket checkout every time I join their queue, that's about 5 ladies each week I date and I don't need to spend $15,000.00 doing it. :) Indeed I had a date with a postman yesterday, we chatted whilst I signed for a parcel he was delivering. :) What makes me laugh though is that Giss might get away with telling this story in his home environment but he's trying to tell it to many of us that are more knowledgable, experienced, than he. Come on jetmba, you've been there and done that also, he claims to have met his future wife but needs to figure out which one, the odds are that he'll go for the prettiest or certainly the wrong one and he'll go on doing this for years until he comes to realise that the streets of Ukraine, indeed FSU, are not lined with gorgeous and available wall to wall totty. If what Giss claims is anywhere near to accurate then he's been meeting 'pro daters'! kiwinorth Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 6/9/2011 8:25:24 AM   Jetmba, i watched part of a tour on a tv doco some time back. i just couldn't bring myself to carry on watching it. it had two parts to it, the girls and the guys, american guys been bused around russia to certain city's. sorry man but these dudes were something out of a circus.. i just couldn't put myself through watching it.. nor could i imagine putting myself in that bus with all these guys who seemed somewhere from a geek show. i'm sure these guys were good nice people, but they were just not in the real world,, and i feel given false hope.. even a lot of the girls in this doco were older show pony's prepped possibly for the camera.. trying to think of the name of the women who fronted the doco,,, do see her often doing real life stuff,, "has a irritating voice". but as always, sad how our media work, just ass holes really making others look like idiots. i know you have pushed this type of meeting and think i see what you may mean by your words losers. it still seems to me a money making scheme where i lot of hope is given to these (not much hope) american guys. rather sad really and kind of not right. that doco was a bad advert for Americans if there ever was one or maybe a good one for the unwanted. Been there 3 times. Wrote lots of letters It is unbelievable to me that people have problems meeting the right woman. I didn't go out with women who wanted to go to expensive spots. Just like 200 hyvrnia for dinner for 2. Stayed in small towns because big city woman are westernized already. It's really funny that the men here have such crappy attitudes. Hey maybe you can't meet a woman there who is not a jerk because people attract others like them! $15,000 is total. Going back in September to get the number of women down to 2 or 3. My latest dates on the weekends STARTED at 2 am! 2 hours each then tell them you have another date to do on. If you like her make another before you leave.
