I have been writing women in the Ukraine for sometime now and I wanted to know about this agency called Confidential Connections. They say that they don't sell the womens addresses, but they won't give you her address until you first meet with the woman. And a meeting cost $50. After you meet with them they say you can have all the information you want. Well if they don't sell their addresses, why is it then costing me $50 to meet them. Is this agency known to be legitimate?
You can contact Alina`s Friends Club in Lugansk, they are 100% legit as I know the owner Alina Kameskaya and her staff (Helen, who is Alina`s office manager, Julia, Anya and formerly Olga, who has now married an American and who is as close to me as a sister !!)
personally.
You can email Alina or any of the abvove staff at
info alinas-friends.com
or
www alinas-friends com
I am perfectly happy if you want to mention it, that I told you about them.
They will assist in either checking out your lady, or checking out the agency you are currently involved with.

Alina is a personal friend of mine, I can assure you she is there and Alina's friends is very real :o)
They used to be based in the Lugansk Hotel, but the owners put the rent up so they moved to a flat/office based in the road opposite the "Virgin Mary" Statue about 100 meters along the road from the old hotel, I guess you will know the statue I mean (not far from Matrix night club) I have known Alina and her girls for about 2 years now, and I will hopefully be coming to Lugansk in the near future to get drunk with them all again :o)) and to wave off my "sister" Olya as she leaves to go to the USA to join her husband Steve :o) Olya and I became very good friends have remained very close, she is closer to me in many ways than my natural sisters !! Until she married Steve, Olya worked for Alina's friends as an interpretor/ translator.
One more point Anna, I posted the information about Alina's friends so that people who are actually going to Lugansk in the near future can get information and local knowledge from them which fiance.com doesn't provide. Not to facilitate the men here looking for ladies through Alina`s friends !!
It was not an advert for this agency !!
Do you not think its a bit rude you posting an advert for your agency on a free to post forum provided, administered and paid for by fiance.com ?
Hello, Tim,
I've got your point and I understand you want to protect "your sister" and maybe to advertise her agency as well. I'm glad you had a good experience with them and I think there should be more honest agencies in our city as for now our city is known as "a capital of scammers", but there are a lot of sincere beautiful girls who are willing to find their true love abroad.
So answering your questions, I don't think it's rude to advertise our agency here on a free Forum. I think forum are built for other people to discuss the issues they are interested in at the moment.
Well, you have posted ad about Alina's friends " so that people who are actually going to Lugansk in the near future can get information and local knowledge from them which fiance.com doesn't provide", so did I. Therefor I don't think it's an issue of etiquette, but marketing.
Our agency provide wide variety of free service and free usuful information on Ukriane, Ukrianian women, history, travel assistance, etc I think we could be of a help for anybody who plans tpo visit Kiev or Lugansk. So why not to advertise ourselves?
Ptichka- You have every right to defend your city. Everytime you read something bad about Lugansk, it must feel like a slap in the face. I know there are beautiful and honest women there that are looking for the same thing us men are. It' too bad that some dishonest women and dishonest agencies has given Lugansk a bad name. You live there so you would know better than anyone.
Thank you Dale!!! You're completely right about how I feel...and it's even worse as I know girls who are honest and who got married with foreigners and live happily in other countries, and I know girls who are in search of their soul-mates, how it's difficult for them to defend theirselves, that they are honest...I know a girl who sent the copies of the passports certified at the notary, and the man didn't believe her. It's really very difficult!!! And people seam to see the only side, the dark side. And that's really bad!!

Ptichka:
before I met my wife I was told plenty of nasy stories about Lugansk.....and Kharkov too,in fact Ukraine did not get many good mentions at all.
As you can imagine I was a little uneasy before I went for the first time.....with good cause as it turned out,but thats another story.
However I agree entirely with Dale that sometimes a few rotten apples can spoil it for those who are honest and genuine.Perhaps the only way this will change is for more people to actually go there.....but with the horror stories growing each day it is very difficult.
Of course I will always defend Ukraine as one of the most friendly and welcoming countries I have ever visited, and not just because my wife is from there either!!
A good reputation takes years to create, but can be destroyed in 5 minutes.
You're absolutely right!!! Thank you a lot for the good words:)
Yes it's true it's so hard to earn a good reputation, but it's so easy to lose it...hope that Ukraine will get it's good reputation and people won't be afraid to come here:)
