I've been with my girl for over a year now, visited Ukraine on a number of occasions & travelled abroad with her many times. She's finished her studies & has a pretty good job which means the time is right for us to look at her coming over to the UK for a week or two, so I can show her my life. There are no problems with employment or money from my side. I believe the best visa to apply for is a visitors visa rather than a tourist, and the process may be aided by a letter of invitation etc? Basically has anyone had a successful UK visa application recently, under similar circumstances and have you any advise which will make the process easier? Unfortuntely this scenario seems to be littered with horror stories but I would hope that it's possible for her to visit my country, even just for a short stay. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
