Anastasia is definitely a total scam! The women on the site are not serious and are only looking to make money. Anastasia International's business ethics are so low that they employ a Convicted and Registered Sex Offender as their Tour Manager. His name is Stephen T. Sias. For proof that he is a registered offender and is employed at Anastasia International go to http://www.maine.gov/dps/Sbi/sor.html, and search the registry. You can also view the original charge and conviction information at http://www2.miami-dadeclerk.com/cjis/CaseSearch.aspx. Anastasia is actually using IMBRA to their advantage when scamming American men. Only in America would the government pass laws to protect foreigners before stopping convicts like this from defrauding the country's own citizens. What more proof does anyone need that Anastasia International has poor ethics and is defrauding American men than the fact that one of their managers is a Convicted Sex Offender.
I just found one of old post on this forum that summarizes advises to not get defrauded:
Remember for the future:
- Start writing to each other, intro letters. NOT PAY PER LETTER.
- If you like each other start talking on the phone, online chat, video chats: use skype, ichat, anything…. Remember each girl in Russia, Ukraine has a cell phone.
- Never send money to people you never met.
- Any normal lady in Russia will not ask you to pay for anything.
- If you are that close to decide to visit each other, remove your and her profile from dating sites
- Meet each other in some nice place, city. You can even go visit her, but before it you should know for sure her address, phone number, get snapshots how she looks like.
- Behave normally, as on normal date. (if you can not land a date in your own city, country, you will probably get in
trouble anywhere anyway. Learn about the subject.
- Do not propose after the first kiss.
- Have a back up plan.
- Enjoy your vacation even if this relationship did not work, so you are not upset on a whole world.
Always ask if you have doubt or question our crowd on this forum.
Even if you follow this advice, it is still possible for them to defraud American men. With Anastasia it is not possible to have her address and phone number before you meet with the lady in their country. They can still pay the ladies to chat and e-mail with the men while not having any serious intentions. When you have an account with Anastasia, your inbox is flooded every day with letters that their staff writes. Then when you open these messges, they charge you for them. I know this because I have received letters from the lady's first, but after I open them and reply I will get a message from customer service that the lady is not interested in me. If the lady is not interested after looking at my profile, then why did she e-mail me in the first place. The answer is simple. When their staff writes letters and you open them they are making money.
Not all cell phones can download apps like skype, penny talk, ..... Pay per letter is definitely an expensive way to go but I have met dozens of women from them. All were who they seemed and knew me from my photos. Also some Russian and Ukrainian wined don't speak fluent English so phone calls don't work that well.
jmclure40. it is your choice. they have their game rules listed. I think , it is stupid to use pay per letter sites. if you do not have her contacts before you , do not go there. you pay anastasia for entertainment:)
How does it matter if they have their game rules listed or not. If men are induced into using their services under false pretenses it is still fraud. The bottom line is they pay ladys who have no romanitic interest in American men to chat and e-mail. They also send spam letters that their staff writes to the men on the site. This is fraud. If the purpose of Anastasia is for entertainment purposes only, then maybe they should put this in their rules. However, they don't do this. Instead they deceptively lead men into thinking that the women on the site are seriously seeking a foreign husband.
jmclure...it sounds like you need protection from yourself!!! Induced???? I wonder if letters you open are from girl's out in your league or if your expectations are unrealistic.....maybe this journey is not for you....maybe your negative thoughts come through...I don't know but I have no problems with girls from anastasia
Hey Beemer18. I think you misunderstood the context in which I was using the word induced. It is interesting how you presuppose that the women that are scamming me are out of my league. You don't even know me! Where would you get this idea? You state that you have no problems with the girls from Anastasia. Have you successfully met your wife through Anastasia. I doubt it. You almost sound as if you are an employee or affiliate of Anastasia trying to divert attention from the content of the original post.
Looking for someone else to abuse, Danny? In spite of your claims, no one deserves to be scammed. They need to be educated on the risks and what could happen. It is then up to them to take that risk. If he does take that risk, he does not deserve your abuse and your made up stories of his being abused. No one in your video got scammed. They are simply relationships that did not work out. That can be true in any relationship, even yours.
danni,,, Who wrote your 8/18 post for you??? You only made two mistakes!!
Maybe the guy doesn't know how to eat with a "falk" but you don't know how to spell it!!
Oh,, and it's "sissy"!!
Keep trying danni,, you're almost up to a 3rd grade level!!
The women gave the men a chance. That's all we want, isn't it? Be the right man and she will not leave, no matter what you have. The other question is, is she the right woman?
Why does it have to boil down to the material things he has and the material things that she requires? This is where Danny's expertise sets in. He bases his whole existence in this forum on identification and management of other people's material things.
If the relationship worked, would you still call her a scammer? Of course you would. You are in this forum to label women other your own, scammers. People come to the forum to share their experiences and they run into the likes of you, and get their loved ones slandered. You have a low criteria on what a scammer is. Even when you don't know, you make things up. You don't know what happened to me and you continue to make things up.
We have established that when a western man corresponds with FSU women, there is a 5% chance, or low chances of his visiting. One cannot expect her to have just one correspondent when he has not yet visited. The men have back ups too, don't they? If these men decide to send her money, she is a scammer? Only if she lied to get it, but the video didn't show that. I doubt if she received money from the other guy once she got engaged and left Ukraine. If she did, I will agree it was a scam, but we don't know that.
Scammer means getting money using fraudulent means. The video failed to show the fraud. It is simply a relationship that didn't work out. I am not saying the scam didn't happen. They just didn't show it.
At any rate, people in the forum deserve the respect of not being hounded by the likes of you. One warning of what could be happening is good. Post after post after post and making things up is highly abusive.
I did watch the video. They didn't show the other guy. They only referenced that money was received from him in a written statement at the end. They didn't say when, did they? In other words, you say she received money from both of them at the same time is something you made up. That doesn't matter anyway. Did she lie to get the money? Again, we don't know.
The relationship soured, so now she is labeled as a scammer. I do not believe that would be the case if the relationship worked. Scamming has nothing to do with the relationship. Because she received money does not obligate her to spend the rest of her life with him.
Unlike you, I do not care what you give your girl. You however look for statements that others give their girl things and then your abuse begins. She is labeled as a scammer, therefore getting the things she got with lies or fraudulent means. This is very offensive. Forum members deserve better than the likes of you lurking here.
A prostitute. That's an awful thing to hear someone else describe a girl you dated. That is what Danny called the girl I dated. This is from someone who has not met and was not told much about her.
Everyone in the forum who tells of their relationship is in danger of this from Danny.
