Now I'm worried because the lady in the wedding dress shop said that in 8 years they've only sold 2 white wedding dresses because no one wants white. Also in a bridal magazine an article said "The modern bride wears pretty much any colour except white". Have I made a huge faux pas? I now have a white veil, white flower girl dress and white shoes. Lol First thing Julie,,, how old are you?? I ask this, to find out how modern or traditional you are?! You do know what a “white” dress is supposed to represent?? It to show how pure you are!! Or how much experience you don’t have!!! If you have no experience, and are proud of that, choose a white dress. It will make your parents feel good!! But if everyone of your friends and neighbors know it’s not true,,, then you need to decide what your shade of “off white” is! My wife’s wedding dress was white. Honesty was not real important to her!
