Luckily they only got me for less than $100 in letter writing. As soon as I tried to get my new Russian lady friend to do a phone call and swap contact information she vanished. Up until then she seemed very interested. I have to believe the site is a scam from what little experience I have with them. My advice would be to stay away. But if you can't then get your girl to IMMEDIATELY go to a phone call and swap contact information to then attempt to decide whether or not you are dealing with a person or a professional letter writer. I may try another site but I'm not in any hurry. I'm testing the waters to guage my own interest in finding a Russian bride. Probably not quite ready yet so I may wait a while. It seems like things could move very fast if you did meet someone that was actually real and there was chemistry. Thumbs down don't spend money at Anastasiadate.com. Just my experience. If I had to choose any site to meet a woman it would be Elena's models as their services does not promote letter writing and chat by the minute charges. But I would be using a different way. Use the social networks, Vkontakte or odnoklassniki! Some time I was married, then lived  alone. Last 3 years I live in Latin America. Again I was thinking about the family, but local women are not for me.  Not long ago I receive e-mail with advertisement of Agency Anastasia. Everything is beautiful, exclusive and looks serious. I go to the site and register myself. Immediately begin to come invitations to meet me.  Young nice faces, interesting summaries. Very impressive. I answer, make acquaintance and begin to communicate. But suddenly everything is cut off. I do not understand anything, write to support and get explanation - it turns out, that I have only 3 free minutes, then I have to pay.  I go to watch the prices. Maximum package is $400. I don't want to economize on relations and buy the maximum. Towards the evening the balance is zero. Several hours of communication with the girls eaten all the VIP package. But the girls, they are so nice and sencere, and it seems that I am interesting for them. And I go for the new vip package.  One day, second, third. I don't think about money. But there is  one thing that I do not understand. Everything so good? We like each other, but all of them avoid any communication outside the  site. - Maybe later..., some day..., of course but not now...  And then it happens... It hardly happen to You. I remind You, that I am russian and speak with them the same language. To speak one language - this is not only words, often it means to think and feel the same way.  In short, I happen to talk with one of the girls outside. The story that I heard killed me. All my brides turned out to be employees of the agency. They are real(at least most of them),  of couse not so nice like on the fotos, but real. They live in  different cities, live their private life and all they need of You, is commission for each conversation with You. Some of them  take it like additional income, for many of them this is a main  job. And relations are the last thing, that they look for in the Internet.   Dirty business. One long lie. You are playing Russian Roulette on those sites. Elena's Models and others of the few respectable dating sites for FSU Women-Western men are charging you to help get rid of scammers as well as the introductions to the ladies. They cannot succeed with all scammers but they do get rid of a lot of them. The site I use helps me investigate suspect ladies. They have removed from their site a number of them I have reported so that people like you do not fall in their traps. Stay away from VK and Odno.. only use them for investigating the ladies you meet in the dating sites if you can find them there. It is a friendship site. The scammers there are quite obvious to me. They act like it's a dating site and make obvious lies. You can make it a dating site and look for dates there. I would trust them more than the dating sites. vk women don't immediately say they are interested in you as in dating sites. Women do not do that in real life. They come to your site and "like" your pictures, posts, and videos to get attention. They don't ask you to visit them. They ask you to visit their city. They don't ask for anything. They just want to be friends. In the end most of them are promoting bogus dating agencies or are scammers. In the dating site I use, most of these people get removed from the site. Some of them do not even last from the time that I get an email notification from the site, telling me that the lady is interested in me, until the time that I go to the site to view the girl's profile. Marriage should start where there are two people interested in marrying and, in our cases, marrying a foreigner. The great majority of people of any country are NOT interested in marrying a foreigner. I have many Russian and Ukrainian female friends in Facebook. They are very friendly to me but they have not shown the slightest interest in romance, getting involved with a foreigner or someone older than them. I don't believe you can't spot this scammer right away. Why would any woman promote a dating site when it is just between you and her? Bite on that one and you deserve to get scammed. You must like it when a woman you hardly know says sweet things to you. This is unnatural and is the characteristic of a dating site. Go there and meet her and you will see. You will need to start from the beginning. She will make you think you are way ahead, but in reality, she has told those sweet things to others. Im into the dating online since 20 years as user, all the same shit.....may be now founded a good one, a travel dating site....it has 1-2 mounths of life so still not full of people but girls are checked 1 by 1 with a pic with the sign with name of site...and that pic its visible to all....thats very important couse other site tell that some girls are verified but then you see pics of jennifer lopez or pamela anderson.....name its travelhostdate.com, there are many italian so i guess its italian but have to say very good graphics and features..... i suggest you to try it.....in 5-6 mounths im sure it will get super popular.....! But it does not work for everybody. The ladies are demanding and many are doctors, lawyers, etc. I prefer another agency because do not mind considering ladies with jobs as sales girls and the like.
