Hi Guys. Old timrs will remember me. I hope. Just trying to find a quick cheap taxi ride and I thought I would ask the resident "experts" here. Any ideas?

Howdy Jet try a bus since its much cheaper and probably not much longer for direct.

its one of those things i guess one has to play by air.. i asked receptionist in hotels when staying if they have any one they know that could do it for a ok price. doing this i have never used taxi's for long runs. always found these girls keen to help if they are not fat over the hill joby's. those bus's bowhunter are cheap but are a nightmare getting tickets for or dealing with if you have to much luggage,, so much nicer to be picked up front of hotel, worth paying that bit extra for. Mariupol bus station put me off ukraine buses for life, dealt if they have changed

I always check online for the best deal, and then ask hotels or agencies. Sometimes the hotels will have the best deal!! jetmba, what have you been up to, what trips have you made during the last year??

Hey Jet!!! Is this from donetsk airport....directly to mariupol? Try a guy i know of...firstdream.com Not sure if cheapest...but quick and reliable. Check out his service on tours Jet...has plenty of guys that swear by him.!!!

I appreciate the suggestions guys - I am now in Mariupol attending a (guess what?) Romance Social. But I am being serious this time. Circumstances made me less serious at recent past Socials - but I am having a good time (despite having an ATM card eaten by a machine). I am ABSOLUTELY single now (something I wasn;t in the past) as one of "my girls" has gotten married and the other has just turned rotten. I don't checck back here very often - but good to see some familiar names here. Tomorrow I go to a Romance Social in Lugansk - I know "scammer capital of Easter Europe" but they have never to my knowledge had a Romance Social before, Should be good.

Jetmba,,, did you violate the 3 try/strike rule??? Did you try your card more than 3 times in one day?? I had troubles too, the green ATMs don�t like me,,, I don�t remember it�s name. The one that works best is,,,,,, they may not let me post the name here,, so,, just think of the cheese,,, or xxxxx Army Knife!! -Bank! If you are going to multiple cities, you must be using EM??? I think Lugansk had a social before, but not many. I remember worrying about a girl I was writing to in that city. I don�t think there is as much to worry about in Lugansk anymore,,, scammers of any ability, have all moved to Kiev!!! I don�t think there is a cubic centimeter in Ukraine that hasn�t been taken over by scammers. For years we�ve heard everyone saying; go to the smaller cites,,,,,,, like Sumy????? Well,,,,!&%$#@! Bleep that!!!! I wish you luck and hope you find someone,,, be careful!!

the most trusted people i met in Ukraine come from Lugansk its the second city in Ukraine i found old British first world war tanks, the other Kharkov they were part of Briton and US first peace keeping style force, sent to Russia from the western front to help stabilize Russia during there civil uprising. to see these old things still there i thought was rather remarkable.
