CONNECTING Author Post CanadaInKiev Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 12/9/2012 8:28:44 AM   Have you ever made a trip without talking to a girl on VK, Facebook, Skype, Twitter etc. A few girls I have started conversations with have said (1) they will only communicate through the agency and (2) the agency will make arrangements when I arrive ect. A few have even said they do not have VK, FB! I will travel to certain select areas in the next 30 days. It's a good idea just to write the girl off completely if their isn't communications off the sites and away from the agencies. Is this the right way to go about it? Do some of you do it different? I have a tough time believing a girl cannot get on VK, Skype and all the rest and I feel comfortable I know a bit more about the person I am dealing with,. In my case after a few weeks of nightly Skyping,I book a flight and she pick me up from KBP and we rode the bus for 3 hrs., the bus ride cost me 50 HAU compare to maybe $200 on a taxi to her house where I stayed for a week. This is normal in Ukraine I met an guy coming back to Germany with me with a similar outcome; however, even Ukrainians or Russians who want privacy, can spent money will rent apartments or stay in a ñàíàòîðèè. Pro is that the girls in the agencies are all on there looking for a relationship, the con is that its hard to tell who is serious, what is a scam and isn't, etc. You can look on sites like vk and facebook and if you do find a girl on there it probably a hell of a lot more genuine, but the con there is they are social networks, not dating and most girls are not interested in hooking up with a complete stranger from a foreign country. Every resort in Mexico,Dominican Republic and all Caribbean resorts are flooded with mostly all Russian families and some Ukrainian. Where in the heck are they coming up with this type of funds. Life must not be so bad over there . Plus your right every major city in USA is full of Russians running, owning,restaurants,waitresses,mall kiosks and smaller steel mills.But my experiences with the younger russian women here in America is yes they will date me cause i treat them well but they always end up shacking up with their own russian guys established here in States, just my observation. bowhunter Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 12/12/2012 5:43:39 AM   truth is the agency is doing the corresponding, they may not even tell the girl you are sending letters. the agency makes money when you show up by renting you apartment, taxi, interpreter and over priced excursions. They do have a lot of girls registered but you pay to meet each one. Don't be foolish and travel to meet a photo. Have real time conversation before you make any plans to travel or even waste your time in extended writing. If a woman and/or agency will not advance your cause,,, forget them both. Find out who the agency is and communicate with them. This is their business and you are going to have to pay them something. The amount of money they will get from you is nothing compared to what a real relationship will cost you. If you don't know how to travel and make arrangements, pay the agency. If you both find interest in each other, she will not want the agency in the way and will want to save you money. Pay the agency for there time. If things work out, you won't be seeing the agency again. If things don't work out, the agency can represent you. You are going to learn how to travel and understand what a fair price for accomodations is. Pay the agency for their time. There are people on this forum for years and they just don't get it. Find a woman and pay the agency. However if you want to save thousands and thousands of dollars,,,,, just stay home. I kept my personal search parameters reasonable . I am 53 and she is 46. I know that a young lady half my age is just a fantasy. She is slender ,pretty, and speaks not bad English.Her only son is in a university and on his own already. My ticket is bought for January . She is taking a train to meet me at Kyiv Borispol from her city.I offered her a traveling expense and she flat out refused. Her friend owns the agency she is with and is on fiance.com .She owns her own business and two apartments. I am a short husky and bald average Joe,i just cant get connected here in the states .USA women to me are very pyschotic and very insecure .As i said earlier she offered me her cell and Skype info so we talk face to face forever every night for free. Her plans are to introduce me to her father and family and she has a spare bedroom for me at her apartment ! What a gal ! I was on this fiance.com 10 years ago writing to girls young enough to be my daughter or slightly older made several visits that were disasters to Ukraine .The trips were interesting but all those perfect body glamour shot agency women had no idea i was showing up or was writing to them! We`ll see how this goes . My learned advice is this .If younger women in your own town are rolling there eyes or looking the other way when you are looking at them ,its the same thing over there unless you are a sheik from Dubai or are Brad Pitt. My 21 year old and I had a serious discussion on this while in Ukraine. We both agreed we love each other's company, and each other, but what a future can be between us is hard to imagine. We also agreed that even if we never saw each other again after this trip (which of course I hope won't happen), that we would cherish every moment we had, with no regrets. Sooner or later I will look more seriously for a more age compatible woman to grow old with in my declining years. I always tell people to look at it this way: When you comptemplate a relationship with a REAL girl (I'm talking face to face here - not letter writing) you bring to the table all of your qualities AND faults (we all have both). You bring your age, your income, your nationality, your status, your intellect, your personality, your goals, your aspirations, your quirks, your likes and dislikes and many many more things. If you match on MOST of these, that's great. Nobody matches on all of them. If you match on all of these aspects but age - a girl over there will still consider you. And she will be THRILLED that she has found someone so compatible. But if you don't match on age HERE in the US - you will never even get to the table. You could be a perfect match in every other category - but you will never even be able to find out here - because she will not consider you. Twice in the summer with one and in January (and it was still great) with the other. Stayed at Hotel Krimsky, Hotel Yalta and Vreema Goda - all great hotels. Yalta is one of my favorite places on earth. Moyarishka: Actually my 21 year old doesn't want to leave Ukraine, under any conditions. Very scenic almost greek like ancient architecture in some places and caves to explore. A good coastal place.A true melting pot of many cultures and food. She also said its a target area for most Ukrainian people to vacation and tons of people from all parts of europe .A lot of nude bathing she laughed! She also said it is a good real estate investment in Yalta with many foreigners buying summer homes or apts there etc . She owns a finished out flat in Yalta and is currently remodeling her other place in Simferopol. She has a traveling abroad visa for USA and Europe good for four years. The possible options with her are good for i am retired with a great pension and medical.She is a web designer so she can do all her projects on line I think dual citizenship for me and her would be super if it all works out for both of us . Yes my head is spinning (lol) ! We`ll see how it goes . I`ll keep those Hotels you listed in my pocket just in case.You never know but i am optimistic. I would love to live in Yalta and jump back and forth to the states.
