"beemer18, you got me right so will you buy it to me? :) "
hmmm,sure,which one....the $50000 german,the $30000 lada,the $599 earings or the $5 drink???
We could start from the bottom and work our way up..... and call it foreplay!! ;-))
$13 dollars for a bud light in New York City,...I almost through a temper tantrum,...especially when still wanted a tip even though they already added a tip into the bill.
When I lived in Virginia several years ago there were some micro brewers that had .25 cent beers, usually there worst selection they had to get rid of before going bad I guess, but .25 cent monkey piss is better than 3 dollar monkey piss.
beemer18, ok let's start with $3 beer it's really tasty here. Especially considering the fact I even don't know how to drive and don't want to learn...
' You spend $5 on ONE drink beemer? Isn't that a bit excessive?'
Well, that includes drink, tips and taxi fare for girl!!!! ;-))
I know your GB airport well Jet...can't get lost in that one!! Last time I was stuck there in a terminal for a couple hours when my flight out Chicago was delayed. I HATE connecting through Chicago now!! Minneapolis much better!!
Beemer: I can't stand the Minneapolis airport. I use it very rarely but the last time I did I had 59 minutes between flights. I always try to go for at least an hour, but this was the best I could do. When the regional flight was late and then couldn't get a gate after it landed in Minneapolis - I had closer to 40 minutes - and I swear my two gates were on opposite sides on Minnesota - or at least I felt that wasy after running OJ style through the airport. Then when I get to the actual gate - almost all the seats at the gate were surrounded with yellow band saying "Do Not Cross" as they were upgrading a built in menu system.
Next time you happen to be in our fair city - PM me and maybe we can meet.

Marina..the world famous tasty $3 ukrainian beer?? :)) Sounds good to me. I know you have your hotspots there, are any in the centre? I do enjoy sitting outside at 99!!!!
You don't want to drive in Odessa...the rush hour traffic is horific...even takes 1-2 hours by bus!!
beemer18, not 'world famous' :) but they make it by themselves and yes that place is right in the centre.
I don't want to drive in anywhere, not cos of rush hours, just cos i don't want to.
Whenever I am in Ukraine - I like to have Ukrainian beer. But I find that the nicest restaurant never have it. The local image is that it isn't very good! They just give you a blank stare when you ask for it.
ONE bartender proudly told me he had something he KNEW I was going to like. He then proudly offered me an American beer. If I wanted American beer I can easily get it in AMERICA!
On one occasion, after being told this at a very nice restaurant where I had gone with a few other men, I simply went outside to a kiosk where Ukrainian beer was being sold, and brought some bottles in with me to share with the other men.
IMAGINE going to France, to a nice restaurant, and being told that they had no French wine. Only German, Italian and Californian. Imagine having to buy s some of it outside to bring in and enjoy with your food.
I can definitely use a Zombie Apocalypse right about now. Love the show Walking Dead ;) I would prefer slow zombies instead of the frigging crazy fast buggars.
I travel occasionally for work and can't imagine ordering a Budweiser while out of town. I always order something local, regional, national, etc. Same with restaurants; why go to an Applebee's that is exactly like the one at home when there's something new to try locally?
Whenever I travel I always avoid the tourist traps also. I find ways to keep it as local as possible and try to mix it up. Going to the smaller cities and towns works the best for me.
