But if the letters are inconsistent, sometimes responsive but sometimes not -- it's harder to know what that means. I have had trouble in correspondence with women who I believe were probably serious (one is now married to a western man!), which I think was due to foreign-language confusion, or a defensive attitude from a history with other foreign men. But my friend who is happily married to a Russian woman, had very strong correspondence -- they were writing often, and telling a LOT about themselves and what is important in life. And even if they are willing to move abroad in there head, it still might be a big emotional burden to deal with in the heart. I know for a fact I can move anywhere to be with a girl but I have best friends who will not ever leave there home state or city for any reason so I can relate to what the girls over there are going through. You would be leaving your family, friends, your comfort zone to move to a place that you will not know how to move around in to take care of yourself. When I was in Ireland I ding'd my rental car with a small scratch, in America I would go to Walmart and get a touch up kit, in Ireland I had no clue where to start looking for something like that!!! The little things become daunting. Grocery shopping was also a pain because I am used to everything pre packed or at least a little bit pre-prepared ;) And how embarrassing was it when I could not figure out how to flush the damned toilet and had to ask a friend for help!! You have to give it a good hard pump, not just press the the button and walk away, another incident I was stuck at a gas station for 30 minutes because I could not figure out how to open the gas cover on the rental car, well that was o.k. because it also took a few minutes for the English lady to help me out with it also, but still embarrassing. I can't imagine how I would fare in Ukraine under similar circumstances, or how she would fare in America. As you are the man,showing your adaptability to difficult situations in a foreign country to you will help her to be more comfortable in knowing you will also take care to make her transition easier as well. From my experiences and from others Ive met who are successful in this venture, It really helps if they know the move is not "permanent" in so much that you are able and willing to travel back and forth several times per year. This way they dont feel "trapped" in your country. Just because you find and move your girl to your country doesnt mean the trips end. Quite contrary! In most cases you are going to find that you will still travel back and forth often and will experience life in both countries as long as you are married. Its obviously not a hard and fast rule as I know a couple of girls who havent been home in 3 years. Her family visits here in US. Just be ready to make that commitment. I never searched for a smart phone over there,,,, but they did have a better selection of regular phones than what I have seen at home. In any mall, and in little shops up and down the city streets!! It was a Life phone and it works great in Ukraine. I also had limited function in Germany, Amsterdam, and Zurich! If I had bought minutes in each of those places, I believe I would have had full function?!! Maybe smart phones would function the same way? You could of course get a fairly cheep data plan in Ukraine. For US, T-Mobile or Simple Mobile offer plans with 4g data for 40-60 per month which include unlimited voice and data For Ukraine, Life sells internet modem and 5gb of use for 40 bucks. pre-pay for phone service will run you 30 bucks will buy you all the minutes and data you will need for 2 weeks, easy.
