Hi lr.sorry i couldnt find any links the programme which was shown on bbc uk tv,at 5-30am may the 11th.maybe if you google bbc iplayer you might find something.
I first heard this fascinating similar programme by the same reporter on BBC Radio 4, 15th April:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01rr7rf
But thanks to this forum I have just become aware the TV version (30 mins.), which is even better (and yes, like most documentaries from Ukraine, it is rather grim news):
**Available to watch only until this Sunday, 19th May 2013.
Note: The radio programme (29 mins.) should be available to listen from all countries for approximately four years. But BBC TV programmes are generally available only to viewers within UK. (However, there are apparently ways around this - try Googling "Can BBC iPlayer be watched abroad".)

Here is a follow up story.

Ukrain e is suffering from one of Europe's worst Aids epidemics but most people with HIV have no access to the drugs that would enable them to lead normal lives - a fact which one teenager, among others, is keen to point out.
As we sit drinking tea in the kitchen, Liza Yaroshenko lays out her pills in neat piles. Some are white, some are yellow and some are in a transparent box marked NIGHT.
Liza, aged 14, carries the HIV virus that causes Aids so her life depends on these anti-retroviral drugs. They have to be taken at exactly the same time, three times a day. I wonder how she remembers - does she have an alarm on her phone to remind her?
"Oh yes," replies her adoptive mother Oksana Aligeva, "an alarm on two legs - me!" Liza does a classic teenage roll of the eyes, but she knows she can't afford to get the timing wrong. "The virus can mutate and the pills could stop working," she explains.

Liza also knows she is lucky to have the medicine. The World Health Organization has said Ukraine suffers from one of the worst Aids epidemics in Europe and not enough is being done to fight it.
Only a third of the officially registered 120,000 people living with HIV receive the drugs, which usually allow them to lead normal lives.
But the Aids Alliance - the biggest independent organisation tackling the disease in Ukraine - estimates that the infected population is at least twice that size. That suggests that just one in six people actually get treatment - one of the lowest levels in the world.
By contrast, some sub-Saharan African countries, such as Botswana and Rwanda, manage to supply 80% of their HIV-infected populations with the life-saving drugs.
I saw it while flipping channels and start to reminisce about my epic time in UA. It’s tragic how corrupt and inefficient the medical system is. WOW…, now on top of unsuitable, scammers and pro-daters; add to the list,,, FEAR.. Or should I say, let’s be alert on this matter, but this can happen anywhere, even here in the UK.
yes is terrible, but this like many of the problems of Ukraine are because the corruption of the society and the total absence of family values... no matter that agencies insists that Ukraine is a family oriented country
Kaiserdag- jonas,,, The info that websites post about their girls might have been true 20 years ago or longer,, but not today. Look at how the women dress for their photo shoots,,,, are they trying to be wife material or pole dancers??
The information that websites and agencies print is complete BS propaganda!
It’s depressing and sad Ukraine’s STD epidemic, but also most FSU agencies propaganda on women are available and ready for commitment. We know that in reality, it’s a hit or miss situation, either paying or not. “Look at how the women dress for their photo shoots,,,, are they trying to be wife material or pole dancers??.” True that most of these women are family oriented but, these women also have DADDY’S ISSUES. Blessed is the one who finds a soul mate among them. Hopefully when you tell her “Trust me, I got this” she won’t ___________. Good luck gentlemen.
Another grim BBC TV documentary on Ukraine's drug trafficking, and their cheaper alternative to heroin 'Krokodil' (Crocodile). 60 minutes, available to view till 23rd September:
one thing about them Russians, Ukrainians and,, they know how to take something to the limits, as in pits of hell.
one of their many previous lovely's was a substance in a syringe they mixed with their own users blood to sell on to the next.,, cannot remember the name,,,, but why the explosion in hiv endemic.
just shows how depressed or whatever it is these people are.
A 17-year-old victim of one of the most horrific cyberbullying incidents in the past year made news again almost six months after her death when her photo appeared in an online dating ad on Facebook. Rehtaeh Parsons, from Canada, died after committing suicide following an alleged sexual assault and bullying. "This is an extremely unfortunate example of an advertiser scraping an image and using it in their ad campaign," a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement.
I don’t want to discourage anyone one their search. But, next time you click on a pretty looking picture, regardless of age, country and/or any other preference, use common sense and THINK. Is this legit or fake?! How do I know for sure?!
