Hello men,
I am getting that itch to start to correspond and fly again but i refuse to wtite to agency women.Question is about AFA.Being they are an American Company are they as devious as the Russian/Ukrainian eastern european agencies ? Has any one had any luck knowing your letters are not being screened for asking the lady her personal e-mail adress and phone number ? Does AFA send back to you form letter replys not answering your questions like they all do on this sight.
Regards , Sunvolt
AFA is the loveme.com website. I don’t think they have a better reputation on the forum than any other site. It really doesn’t matter much where a website is based, or where they say the main office is,,, most websites still must rely on the same agencies.
Don’t forget,,, Aweb was once an American based company too.
Okay ,but can anyone out there verify to me if you ask a lady for their personal contact information on loveme.com through a letter it gets deleted or not answered ?
Sunvolt,, I haven’t used this site before, so I don’t know,,, but I enclosed some info from their “Terms and Conditions” that might help? The middle paragraph about IMBRA.

Wow, so under those IMBRA regulations until i get her to sign a completed form by me, my request for her contact info is futile and useless and they reserve the right to edit that request. Plus ,if i did complete a form and only loveme.com has her contact info, whose to say they will even deliver the form to her. Thanks for the detective work LR .

During all of my time on similar sites,, IMBRA has never come up. I know its for protecting women from dangerous and/or strange men, but can they use it to deliberately delay or prevent the exchanging of personal info??
On Aweb, they make a guy spend money for their special services,,, phone calls with translator or flower and gift delivery,, then you can send your own info over the phone or on a card with the gifts. The girl can send a thank you note back to you with her info,, if she wants to. Most didn’t share an email address,,, just a phone number,,, especially if they didn’t speak much English!!
I wrote to and planned to meet a girl that was AOB. I asked the girl for her phone number and email address,,, the agency wouldn’t let her give it? I sent her flowers with a card that had my info on it,, and she did not receive it?? I contacted the website, and they said sharing contact info was against their rules?! I sent a reply back to them,, that basically said: WTF good does it do, to use your website,,, if you can NEVER contact the girl??? They answered my request with the phone number of the agency,,, who gave me the number of the interpreter. I think they really wanted me to book a full package deal with them,,, no way!
AOB has since changed their policy on contact info,,, you must now exchange 5 letters to and from the girl,,, 40 or 50USD per trial!
Aweb doesn’t even allow the exchanging info on their chat. On my 2nd trip, I had free time and credits to burn up,,, so I did it on the chat. I wanted to give one girl my phone number in the worst way,,, but was not able to. I wrote my number,,,, three, eight, zero,,,, etc,,, the girl said it was blocked,, coded to be exact? I tried to include my number in the conversation,,, using every way to disguise it that I could think of,, no luck! What computer program could catch or intercept everything and anything personal?? Was there a person screening every word that was sent?? Or,, was the girl herself lying about it??
As I wrote this,, 6 replies that haven’t appeared yet, are listed. Hopefully from someone that has used the loveme.com website.
I've used them for a tour. They are straight up but that means nothing at the girl/translator level. As why people use fiancee.com, if say it's because they hope to meet a great woman, get to know their family, merry many OS their friends and have them move with them and get married. Tuesday I'm marrying the smartest, most caring, most industrious woman I've ever met. She has agreed to a prenup and I've treated her honesty to the point I feel bad about it.
This whole thing is not that hard, not that difficult, our not that confusing. If it seems that way to you, you aren't doing it right.
What type of agency do you mean?? To me,,, they are all the same. Perhaps some are better than others,, or at least planned to be more honest and legit,,, but in the end, dishonesty earns more money.
Tom had good luck on this website, and is now married. But he also,, like me, had 4 trips with little or no luck. I used this website for two of my trips,,, and all and all,, it was the worst for me. I only went through one agency in one city though,, not an accurate test.
I meant the agency ladies that are on this sight not elsewhere .I always have received form letters not personal replys ,letters of them calling me another man`s name, never adressing my questions to them or giving me their contact info when i ask for it.Fiance.com simplys always says tuff shit and move on to the next lady,we have plenty of them and you might find one.
There are very few women that are on only one site. Many websites have cloned or sister sites, and share the ladies profiles among them,,,, they say it is to help get the women more exposure? I once knew a girl that was on at least 47 websites. When I asked her about it, she didn’t seem to care, and said: I think the agency knows what’s best for me.
While on the AOB site, I had two women from Simferopol call me Stanley a week or two apart. One I never said a word about it,,, and stopped writing to her,,, I never heard from her again. The other one I told her the reason,,, and she wanted to argue and plea for me not to stop writing. Both of these correspondences were being carried out by an agency translator,,, the 1st one didn’t argue, because she didn’t notice that I was gone?!
I only had one girl on this site make a mistake with my name,,, and she apologized to me for it. She also had to admit that she was writing to others.
I have more of an issue with their claim, that the girls write AND translate the letters with the help of a computer translator,, and not an agency person. I would see simple spelling mistakes like ( some/soem) and a few others. Would a computer program make that mistake??
I don’t know why they would lie about it,, but I often thought that perhaps the agency makes an extra penny or two, translating the letters themselves???
Another sign that people at the agency are writing the letters,, is the feeling I get from the interpreters, that they know me a hell of a lot more than the girl herself. During the meetings,, the girl will ask questions that have been asked and answered long ago. And then when the girl goes to the bathroom,,, the conversation picks up,,,, the interpreter and I feel very comfortable together??? On this website,, the interpreter shouldn’t know jack about us!
With both the forum and the website,,, I have often wondered if anyone is home??
I was able to remove my profile and quit this site with no problems,,, but I never received a reply from customer support yet!!
Look for those of you who don't get it, no Web site has their own agencies. Agencies are all over fsu because the women are looking for hope of a faithful man for the rest of their lives. The agencies contract with dozens of dating sites. Each agency has as many as a dozen Web sites. So the "honesty" is not a function of Web site, it's a function of the local agency. I don't understand how you could not have gotten honest responses. I put right in my profile "please don't send form letters, I would never waste your time that way and expect the same courtesy."
Look, heres the method I used.
I decided where I wanted to go. I had the best luck in lugansk, makeevka, donetsk area. I actually did write a form letter and searched the area I was headed to. I read thru all the active profiles in the area and sent a letter to every woman that I thought might be a match. Of 100 Lees sent i get 60 back. 20 form letters. So Ihave 40 left. I wrote 40 letters, one to each asking important things about their lives. I would tell them I was planning a trip in about 6 months. Oddly at this point, since it goes thru the agencies, about 20 women from that area would begin to write me...just a coincidence, I'm sure... Any way after 3 months it's down to 10 or 12 that I'm still writing out of maybe 120 or 140 (100 i wrote + women who then wrote me first) so we are talking less than 10%. The woman I married yesterday would tell me such sweet things that I told her she was lying, that no one is that nice. She answered me "ask me all the questions you have, but when you have no more you promise to come to me". And for you older guys, she was a model until age 28 and now a dermatologist at age 35.
So you tell the 10 women you are coming to their town for 4 days, and you stagger them with the one you feel closest to first. After 2 days I knew she was the best woman I've ever met in my life. I told the others I had meet my other half. I wished them the best of luck...
But I'd out didn't work out I could easily have left in a few days on to #2, #3... I knew some would not be good matches but seriously this is am easy thing to do. Screen with 100 letters. With my wife, we had written each other 460 times in 6 months. W were waiting for each others letters..
Ant thus is why fiance.com is different. Out has the same girls, the same agencies, the same translators, but it doesn't charge per letter. The gain of filling your mail box is not there. Btw there's a beautiful restraint manager in Nikolaev...has a photo in her profile with a leopard skin mini dress. Very smart. Very nice... I wrote her one letter that was..a little too fixated on her looks and she never wrote me again. If she was a scammer, that wouldn't happen. Just try it this way. You can thank me later.
I put right in my profile "please don't send form letters, I would never waste your time that way and expect the same courtesy."
"I actually did write a form letter and searched the area I was headed to. I read thru all the active profiles in the area and sent a letter to every woman........"
Nice!!! Comes under the heading, Do as I say not as I do!!!!
I had a different experience. the woman I had visited on 3 or 4 occasions was not working out so I decided to just enjoy my vacation. I was developing my website, finding interpreters that didnt overcharge and I met a couple women from an agency. We had never met until the agency arranged it. Since I was not really looking and only had 2 days till I went home I let the agency pick the lady I would see. due to a mix up they had arranged 3 women on the same day. I met my wife first then met the other 2 women. I wrote to and returned to see my wife a few times again then arranged for her visa. we are on year 3 and still going.
No beemer it comes under the title of an introduction letter. Once they responded I never did that. Also for a first letter you can't tell if it's a form letter or not. There are no questions to be ignored. But continue being a nay sayer. I'm married to a beautiful woman about 6 times out of my league and you, well aren't.
I hear ya Tom , but my experience back in 2004 was i was writing to 6 ladies all from Kyiv who were all waiting impatiently for my letters plus one private e-mailer.Here when i bought my roundtrip ticket and announced when i was arriving they all within one week said they had met another man and one even wrote why would you come to Kyiv to meet a woman ? See what i mean ? Ivan was a letter writer and i uncovered the scam when i arrived. The women were all stolen identities or photos. So the agency had to scramble because i reported them to fiance.com who said they were launching an investigation at them . So i was provided the agency phone number to calm me down and when i was at the RUS Hotel i called the that agency and hey said they had a lady to visit me for lunch for 20 USD which i gave to her female escort who then left us alone.Well i though she looked familiar and she was a current Miss Wow then and revealed to me she owned the agency.I met the crook. What a scam. She only showed up to butter me up. Fiance did shut her down i think. She did reveal to me she had other women writing replies. Then that week i attended an AFA social and my interpretor latched on to me after she accompanied me to translate on several dates. They are warned not to do this but she speaks my language. So we wrote and i called and i visited her three times and i thought she as the one for me.Well ,i got laid off from work and one month later she was on loveme.com and married a long nosed jew accountant from Israel. How convenient.Their life is all over facebook. Her life in Israel is better than mine here in USA.Tom, you are one of the very few and i mean only about three that i know of in 10 years that married off this site.I hope the best for you and she is the same person to you when she receives her citizenship.
