I personally like finding ladies profiles with information about them - the "write me for details" often seen seems sketchy. How accurate are translations? Are there common mistakes which will not translate? I have seen some women list their English level as 5 when I think they have just as good english as some who have listed theirs as 10 (or maybe are simply more intelligent). TimH Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 3/20/2004 12:23:23 PM   Likely that the details posted are done by an agency worker mate, they take the info the lady gives and translate and post the profile, its almost certain that the ladies with a low English score dont post their own profiles. A lot of the "write me for details one" will be with own email rather than agency girls as a rule, but of course there are exeptions. Personally I wouldnt bother writing to any lady who hasnt at least made an bit of effort with her profile, "dont care" and a 5 words description accompanied by a stack of photos dont really impress me much, I would sooner see one or two good photos and a bit more time spent on her personality, interests and what she is looking for. Also when answering the question "what age man do you want, from age ---- to age ---- Im loath to approach a woman who hasnt even made some attempt to answer that question, surely she has an idea of how young or how old she is prepared to consider !! I mention views on quite a bit, from politics, religious views, etc. I even try to put something in there that makes it clear from the start that I'm not a rich sugar-daddy, but not in those words of course since there is no telling how sugar-daddy translates, lol. From my current viewpoint, the best way is to find someone who writes me and speaks english and ask her but at the same time I don't want to send a message that comes across as "well, i'm not interested in you, but could you help set me with my profile so I can meet someone else". The translate it into Russian so it looks good and makes sense to the ladies who will read it :o)) My Ukrainian Sister is a translator by profession and has a university degree in English !!!
