Author Post TimH Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 3/20/2004 4:49:04 PM   On this site, and on hundreds of others too, there are many horror stories about scams, bad women and some really nasty happenings which have occurred to men seeking Russian brides, but what has not been mentioned much is that Russian women don't have the monopoly on this behaviour and on a pro-rata basis they are no worse than any other race of women !! However the others don't have dedicated searching for brides sites on which forums like this would reveal that there is as much chance of being cheated, scammed or of failing at marriage for the same reasons in any country in the world as there is with a Russian (when I say Russian of course I mean all FSU women ) woman !!! These terrible messes occur just as often when men marry UK / US / Thia / South American (and you really have to be careful with these, if you don't understand why, watch "There is something about Miriam !!! Damn thas a sick show !!) or absolutely any woman from any country, just that there are no web sites dedicated to this kind of dating and marriage with forums like this for the people to compare notes, so no-one reads about it !! You could get ripped off by the girl down the road just as easy as by a Russian girl, just that few would ever hear about it !! I know of some Really nasty US / UK women who scam men all over the world, so please don't paint Russians as the only bad ones, they are not !! Just that unfortunately their misdeeds (the ones who are bad) get written about, A Lot !! The others do not !! Before one gets a bee in their bonnet about Russian women, just think about how many people you know who's marriages have failed for similar reasons, or how many times you or friends have lavished love, given everything she wanted or spent wallet loads of cash on a woman only to be dumped or cheated on in return !! And usually in many nastier ways !!! Being a little bit of an old hand at the FSU dating thing I have heard so many horror stories from ladies from a few countries about the phantom internet romeos.Playing with someones feelings and emotions is every bit as bad as getting scammed for money.A lot of these ladies have spent a not inconsiderable amount of time and money writing to a prospective partner only to have their hopes dashed time and again.Is it any wonder that some of them are cynical?? I'm not trying to paint every lady from the FSU as angels,as there are bad apples in every barrel,but every story has a flip side and I for one think that it should be told.
