This is an EASY example,,,,, can anyone find the lie???
http://vk.com/smurfiii
http://www.lovessa.com/Svetlana7 77Sweet.html
http://www.army-of-brides.com/lady/75330.html
There is an obvious lie here,,,, but who committed it,, girl or agency?? If it’s a stolen profile, then the girl might be innocent, so don’t contact the girl!
If anybody is wondering how many profiles I needed to search through, to find this one example,,,,(1) Just one!!!
their were 2 different birth dates. one was 1985 and other was 1993. funny thing she did not have the the blue dress picture on the VK site. only on the army of brides site on page 3. so you could be using agencies to make money.
lonelyranger1701, the lady doesn't look like she is almost 28. She looks pretty young, a girl, not a 28yo lady. If you would like to hear my opinion - I think that VK says the truth, and the girl or her agency (or together) put the worng information on the site. BUT army-of-brides requeres a passport of the lady. So, it could mean that they fabricated a copy of passport.
The reason to do this is to ad some years, as many men don't trust very young ladies. And 28-29 is a good age for most man.
Look.. 20yo girls ... they still have a fun, most of them are students, enjoyes their lives, have many friends to spend a great time together, they don't need to go to the marriage agency yet. Thie desire maybe will come later. If you probably noticed there are many young ladies in Poltava, as it's a city of students.
But it's not so important!!!
Important thing is the age differnce in her profile. up to 60!!!! could you believe that??? and that's false! And it doesn't matter if the agency put this information or the lady. In first case a man will be fooled by agency, in second - by both. So in case you guys are older than 40 please don't try even to contact young ladies who put such age difference, if you care about yourself, your feelings, your time and money.
http://www.lovessa.com/Svetlana7 77Sweet.html - can't be opened ((
P.S. The easiest way to know 100% is to ask the site administration.
As we talked about LR, it is almost for sure the girl who is lying on VK, first of all she looks like she is around 30 not 21 and about the only thing that the sites do actually check is some form of ID with the birth date on it. Its a given than men and women both lie about their ages on VK if they are single and over 25.
The sites will often fine the local agencies for violations and they often pass this on to the girl if it happens, so both girl and local agency are pretty careful about not violating that rule. Plus, its about the only rule there is, all so the site can claim they have "verified" the girl is real.
Some local agencies are willing to bend this much more, they get a girl in for a "free model shoot" they get her to sign something which gives them the right to use the photos "in advertising" and the girl's photo appears and meanwhile someone else who can write English is replying to your letters. I know a couple girls in Kherson who had that happen to them.
Pay per letter sites are almost all operating this way, the girls make between 50 cents and a couple dollars for each letter they reply to so it can add up to a pretty decent income by Ukraine standards.
I thought she pulled off looking 28 quite well,,, but if you look through a lot of her photos on Vk,, then the pics from 2012 and 2011 makes her look like she was in HS.
A lot can be said for the way an agency can change a girl into what they think will bring in more men. She looks so sweet in her dating profiles,,, but not so much on Vk. I looked at profile and read her letter,,,1st letter this year. I liked her dating profile but what I found on Vk changed that,, and not just the age thing. She is online all the time,,,, 8,600 posts at last count, doesn’t list herself as single and looking, has a photo from inside a limo and at least one from one of the more upscale nightclubs in Kiev. I’m not looking for a party girl.
Dh7,,, I agree about the photo shoots,,,, I think a lot of young girls get sucked into the free shoot, and don’t realize what can happen with their photos. I recently used “google image” for the first time doing some “recon” for someone else,,, when I thought about checking the ex. She has a photo on Vk that is a little risqué,,, but not able to identify who it is! Her face isn’t visible. I found that photo on dozens of websites. And although she is no longer,,,, in the picture,,,, this would have bothered me if we were a couple.
I also know a girl in Kherson who had her photos used for dating website advertisements,,, she was one of the first girls with the angel wings.
ML,,, the link is most likely to blame for it not opening. I saved her profile to my favorites and it works, and if you do a search for her, you will be able to find her.
I have been getting chat invites from her 6 to 7 times a week for over 2 years! I also get letters from her quite often,,,, I’ve opened a couple for free,,,, back awhile,,,, and remember them to be over the top.
She tweaked her name a little along with her city. Any one of these reasons alone isn’t enough to claim that she is a scammer,,, but all of them??
Reverse psychology is a technique involving the advocacy of a belief or behavior that is opposite to the one desired, with the expectation that this approach will encourage the subject of the persuasion to do what actually is desired: the opposite of what is suggested. This technique relies on the psychological phenomenon of reactance, in which a person has a negative emotional reaction to being persuaded, and thus chooses the option which is being advocated against.
Reactance is a motivational reaction to offers, persons, rules, or regulations that threaten or eliminate specific behavioral freedoms. Reactance occurs when a person feels that someone or something is taking away his or her choices or limiting the range of alternatives.
Reactance can occur when someone is heavily pressured to accept a certain view or attitude. Reactance can cause the person to adopt or strengthen a view or attitude that is contrary to what was intended, and also increases resistance to persuasion. People using reverse psychology are playing on at least an informal awareness of reactance, attempting to influence someone to choose the opposite of what they request.
The one that you mentioned Helena Demchenko (id: 139991). A red flag is if you look at the age she is looking for 30-69. A normal woman is not going to look for someone old enough to be her grandfather unless of course she is a career dater.
Occupation: Real Estate - this could mean she is just some kind of apartment rental agent or works with an agency to rent apartments. This does not mean she is actually selling real estate.
Be careful when they claim to be from a town like Brovary (not too far from Kiev.) That means they will demand taxi fare to meet. Some girls have been caught lying in this situation when they really live in Kiev.
Yeah,,, same girl different name and city. And I think this site is protecting her too!! I tried using my link from before,,,, (just above again),, and it’s blocked with a log in pop up?! I searched for her using her info,,, and she is not to be found,,, then I tried just the id no 139991 and once again it’s blocked.
I remember this happening before when searching for one of their “miss wow” girls,,, same story. The money makers are protected.
TomZ,,, you are right about the taxi scams with women living nearby. I had it happen once,,, I learned about the girl moving back home after college on the first day in her city. It was Jan or Feb,,, she would have needed to graduate at mid term between semesters for it to have any truth,,,, but I think she was already out of school when we were writing.
I remember telling her: If I moved from the downstairs bedroom to one upstairs,,,, I would have told you!!!
Answering questions and the truth just isn’t her thing!
I strongly suggest to stop running like a dead chicken without a head. Waste of time! That Is a rookie mistake we all do.
What is the point to turn into Magnum, P.I. or Sherlock Holmes without giving her the benefit of the doubt?
Avoiding scammer is too easy….
*Video chatting … if pretty picture doesn’t match pretty face on video, move on. * Check Passport for proof of age. * Next is her social status or to find out how single she is. That takes time and common sense.
From KBP to Kiev get the bus for 40UAH; however, I always use the taxi on my way back …
K-dag,,, you need to address your message to the particular person. If you wrote that for me,,,,, then the first words that came into my head were:,,,,, “OH HELL NO!!”
Doing a thorough investigation will keep a guy from running around like his head is chopped off! I worry that I haven’t been thorough enough. To keep making trips to the FSU is exactly what websites and agencies want you to do. I’d rather eliminate 100’s of women on the internet, than to find out the hard way in person.
“ without giving her the benefit of the doubt?”
“ Check Passport for proof of age.”
Those two statements contradict each other!!
I’ve never checked a passport yet,,, it might be a good idea,,, but just how do you ask for it without hurting her feelings??
About the two women above,,, I haven’t wrote to either of them,,, they wrote to me and one hits me up for chat almost everyday,,, otherwise nothing.
A couple of months ago, I was contacted by someone on fb,,,, before the end of the first conversation,,, I had already uncovered multiple lies. I’ve become really fast at it with people that have an online footprint. With two computers and three screens, I can do a lot of homework fast!
They lie about:,,,, age, location, work, English level, availability of internet, name(s), children, eligibility for marriage (boyfriends-husbands), STD’s, vacations, etc!
