I have always wanted my in laws to come visit to see how their daughter lives here. They are from the Donetsk area. In sure they could have qualified before but with donetsk a war zone, does any one know if visas are harder/easier/the same as they were before the war?
I doubt if they are any different...it only shows a Ukrainian citizen. I think it is more likely the troubles would come getting a visa. I have recently heard some troubles getting in-laws visas despite providing adequate info and having strong ties to their home.....even to have only one parent at a time come did not change outcome. You've got an unphill battle. If it comes down to it, get your congressmen involved, it may 'sway' some minds in immigration.....as a last resort thou.
