One of the 2009 posts said the Nikolaev girls are all gorgeous and are all happily married. If you have the choice between staying in a backwater in Ukraine (not the Chernobyl area or Donetsk I mean) with a lovely girl and staying in Kiev with a professional dater, I would go for the backwater. You have everything you need there - top notch hotels, restaurants. The only problem is that the city is full of professional daters. That doesn't mean that they all are though. Never pay more than 3-4 nights at a time as your plans can change and believe me they NEVER refund any unused days. I got a nice apartment on Deribasovskaya St and I think I was paying only 250 uah a night. We are renting our house out to Russian family next Spring using AirBnB.
