Hi all I’m new here so please be gentle with me! I live chat with a lady I really like (all be it from a far) on a Ukrainian dating site. The live chat sessions cost $70-$100 per hour. I have asked her for her direct contact details but she feels it’s a little too early (she’s probable right) to share that information. I have been chatting with her most nights for about 10 days now and it is obviously a very expensive way to communicate! The problem is from what I understand it is rude for men to discuss/mention money to Ukrainian women. So the question is: How do I make her aware that communicating this way is so expensive without offending her? All advice would be really appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Oh, yes, it is too early, she hasn't earned enough money on you. Take your time, pay more. I just can't understand you guys buying such a bullshit. Are you looking for a woman to marry or for a whore to sell her time for $100 per hour? Prostitutes are much cheaper and they give you satisfaction. One 100% tip to spot a scammer - if she doesn't share her direct contact details and insists on communicating for money she is a scammer. That's it, nothing more. Leave her and the agency and go to free dating websites that have no stupid restrictions and pay per letter system.

I know someone who uses the same site as you are speaking of. Anastasiadate? It has brought him to financial ruin. He has massive credit card debt and is unable to pay his taxes. He is addicted to the site like a drug addict. There is a chance that you are not communicating with the real girl but a Boris or operator since Anastasiadate uses affiliates and is unable to control them. Their who business model (pay for chat) is susceptible to fraud. Someone said if you are to use that site don't use the chat function, just write letters. OPP was able to find the lady's Facebook page and message her there and communicate with her there then arrange a meeting.

For me it's just unbelievable that some men are willing to pay for video chat with a woman in Ukraine. It's a country overflowing with wonderful women waiting for a man to chat with for free. The women available for paid chat at agencies in Ukraine, are mostly doing this for a living. They are seldom looking for a man, since very often, they are already married. I have spoken with several women that knows this industry from the inside. Please believe me and drop this immediately. There is today, an almost endless amount of serious and beautiful Ukraine women you can video chat with for free. In all parts of Ukraine there are hundreds of women waiting for a serious man to Skype with. And a lot of them have at least basic knowledge of English. And unless you are extremely lucky,,,,,, (like one out of a hundred) you will have to meet and spend time together with several women before you have the start of a relationship. So save your money till you get to that point, because then you are really going to need them. You can read my thread further down this page.

Ok, let's be easy on jegneg and just give him the right advice without being mean. Guys come to this forum because they need to discuss and learn from others who have seen it. Jegneg, she's not really interested in you. No true Ukrainian girl would want you to spend your money like this. If she was genuinely interested in you and not chat money then she would pass on her details. Girls do it on A-date all the time. TomZ is right, my method for A-date is not to use the site for anything other than finding a profile that appeals to me and then finding her on VK or Facebook and communicating there. I found a very nice girl this way who was adamant I was not to contact her ever on the site after this because she didn't want me to waste my money - her words exactly. I found a directory of Ripoff Reports about Anastasiadate http://tinyurl.com/p6zhwtn Here are some of them: I have corresponded with a number of women on Anastasia.com, I travelled to the Ukraine on 4 occasions. The first time I was to meet 4 women, 3 days before I left a woman replied that she did not know where she would be. The second and thrid simply did not turn up, the second claimed she was picking fruit from her grandmother's orchard. The third, despite being told where I was staying and the date of the meeting, claimed she was unaware of where I was. The fourth camouflaged that she had a daughter, claiming she was childless. I was advised by the hotel receptionist that if I met her I would be exploited by her. I did not ever meet her. The second visit resulted in the woman not appearing as she had to visit her parents for a routine visit (even though we had arranged to meet). The third visit resulted in the woman attending but subsequent events would seem to indicate she had mental problems. The fourth had a cold. It is my suspicion that the whole site is a confidence trick designed to extract money from gullible western men and that the women have no intention of ever meeting. It is not even certain that one is even writing to the women portrayed on the site. It is believed the site is based in Florida and it would be useful for any member who resides in Florida and has suffered damage may consider a complaint to the local or federal authorities and/or instigate proceedings in the civil courts for costs & damages. --- Being a member of Anastasiadate.com for more than 10 years! (OMG!) I learned quite a lot about this scamming company. And I do mean SCAMMING. Somewhere else I read a guy claiming that those 1000s of small agencies in Ukraine working with Anastasiadate.com are causing the scamming hiring ladies to chat, correspond etc. with guys. In the end it is still the headquarter of Anastasiadate.com to blame! Searching for a lady from Ukraine for a long time after my divorce in 2002 I have many bad stories and experiences with Anastasia to tell about. It took me almost the first two years to realize that most ladies were not seriously looking for a relationship to a foreigner. My fortune was that an interpreter at my own age at that time (approx. 36) wanted to advice me to forget a certain young lady I met. Because she was depending on her job as an interpreter working for several small agencies under Anastasiadate she couldn't tell me much. Though one might get lucky and find a legit girl like OPP did, in spite of the company's scam tactics. Read the thread "Plan E contingency" I'm convinced the company doesn't ever want you to find someone. They just want you to keep paying endlessly for chat. If you find someone you'll stop paying.

Also chatted about one hour per day for one month, cost $1,800. The person I was talking to seemed warm and affectionate, honest and kind. Nothing could be further from the truth as it turned out. She invited me to spend two weeks in Odessa Ukraine, so I traveled there in January 2012, cost of airfare and hotel $5,000. I also lost two weeks wages because I took unpaid vacation leave. On my arrival there she refused to meet me, to answer the phone, or explain why she suddenly changed her mind. It was -20 degrees C which made it quite an unpleasant experience apart from being ripped off. There were many red flags which suggested a scam was in operation but I didn't put it all together till the end. Warning signs were: 1) She refused to give me her private email saying she did not have access to email 2) She spoke to me once on the phone through an interpreter, then after that stated that her phone didn't work (she blocked me) 3) I had a friend from Ukraine call her and leave a message. She blocked my friend after that. I complained to the Anastasiadate.com and after a lot of run arounds was told I should have paid $70 to guarantee my date. That service is only available if you arrive on a tour arranged by Anastasiadate.com by the way. Anastasiadate management were completely unhelpful in resolving this issue. My anlysis indicates that Anastasiadate paid Juliya to talk to me then when I arrived she was scared to meet me. The reason is I mentioned that I could find her through friends in the state security apparatus if Anastasiadate cut off our communication. She hid from me for two weeks, never going online, then when I returned home, she was back on line the next day, just refusing to communicate with me. Anastasiadate sucked $3,000 out of me in one month. I lost much more in airfare, hotel and lost wages. Juliya is doing this on a regular basis and the agency is aiding and abetting her. If it sounds to good to be true, it is. I feel like an idiot to be taken in by these crooks. I welcome any attorney who wants to go after these bastards get in touch with me. Also I would go to the police or DA if so advised. I can supply pictures of Juliya if interested. I checked her pictures against Google picture search and sure enough she exists on the net under another name. I would advise anyone using Anastasiadate to be very careful. After one or two letters, arrange for the girl to speak to you on the phone and get her contact information. Most wil not agree to this, so you have identified the most obvious scammers for little cost. if she will go provate with you, well, that does not mean she is honest, but hopefully at least you won't pay so much as she scams you!

Jegneg, you know my friend met his wife using such site, but not Anastasiadate. It was astonishment for me to understand that it could really had happened! If I'm not mistaken he had used mymagicbrides.com TomZ, I was sure the vast majority of acquaintances finished such sort of stories you`d written, but not all. Peter, my friend, didn`t scream about his happiness in the net, and neither did lots of other men. That is why you read just bad replies. But I know more that after sending few e-mails he got his lady's contact information, so he could call her by cell phone. So after this example i think you can rely on some of this sites.

Op, tell her to set up a free email account just for you. If you don't work out she can abandon it. Have her set up a separate skype account just for you. If it doesn't work out z she can abandon it too. No risk for her. If she won't do this, she's a scammer.
