I stayed there till the end of my visa and came back to Ukraine where we got married. Now I am applying for spouse visa. But we have a problem: on paper it looks like we know each other only since 2014 because I didn't mention about him in tourist visa. And as it appeared I can get 10 years of ban for that so we were adviced to keep story that we know each other only since 2014. For me it still looks suspicious. What should we do:lie or say the truth and hope for the best? As an example a British friend of mine and his Filipina wife were to exit Philippines to start their new life in Spain, twice they applied for a Spanish (Schengen) visa and twice they were refused, their next thoughts were to apply for a Portuguese (Schengen) visa and, if necessary, go thru the Schengen visa countries applying for a visa one by one. But they took PROFESSIONAL advice and were warned that his wife could become blacklisted for merely trying to enter Europe with no particular place to go so my friend has gone ahead by himself and once he's settled in Spain he'll apply for a visa for his wife to come and join him.
