Sure there are places you don't go at night, just like any city. I go to Los Angeles several times a year. You can die there if you are stupid. I am a musician/singer, but also have a good career in telecommunications. (Why am I telling you this?...I don't know) The main thing is that I really care for this girl. She has great character and morals (from what I have gathered from afar) and we have a lot in common (believe it or not). Morals are very important to me. She is very sweet, intelligent, sincere, and petite, and 9 years younger than me. Neither of us have children...yet. We have been chatting on Yahoo Messenger with a web cam many hours a week since Oct 2003, in addition to phone calls and emails. I have about 40 pictures of her, her family, and friends. Now I want to see her in her environment and meet these important people in her life. She is anxious for me to meet them as well. I can't do that on a trip to Odessa. By the way, I was not looking for FSU girl (although I can see the attraction to them guys. ;) ) We just found each other on another friend/dating site. Things have blossomed from there. My point about the place being a dangerous one comes from the very few pieces of news I am able to find and read in the net. I also have a nice lady I would love to meet from Chisinau, but the picture she paints about the daily situation there is bleak, at best. I'm sure I could show you parts of LA or New York that look like a war zone. I could also show you very nice parts of each city. Been writing and talking on the phone with 'Lucy' from Chisinau for about a month. I am planning a July trip to see if "I Love Lucy"! So far I am getting seriously infatuated.
