That is a little bit lower than the 80% I saw last week. Granted, many Russians do not talk to me on vk, but that is also true about Ukrainians or Americans of Facebook. But I have had some meaningful conversations with all, including Russians. I have always been suspicious of polls, especially the ones conducted by Russia. A 97% vote for Russia in the Crimean election is a joke. That is when the polls count and Russia demonstrated how they do it. Government and biased polls aside, do Russians hate Americans? Back during one of the Gulf wars,,, and after one or more hurricanes that shut down oil refinement, the price of “Petro” in Canada was between 6 and 10 dollars per gallon,, and that’s if they had any. We were planning a trip to Labrador and Goose Bay, NFL,,,, and on one of the long stretches of road, the availability of fuel was questionable. We passed of the trip and went to our regular hunting spot. Anecdotal story, but at least he did not hate Americans.
